When I found out that this would be a book, I realized how much of a bookworm I've always been and marked my calendar.
This is an amazing read and is really cool to find that the storyline is so related to the lore, yet not at the same time.
Bottom line; If you're a Five Nights fan like me, or just a bookworm, or just enjoy horror novels, or all at the same time (again, like me) this book is a great read. I'd highly recommend it.
It was great, you only realize at the end at its not related to the games other than vaguely but I don't think I would have enjoyed it if it weren't for the games and all the theorizing. I was able to picture everything in my head thanks to the games.
Honestly loved the character development. Loved the pace. First real horror book I ever read yet I still loved it. Ending was really satisfying which is rare. Loved it. 5 stars
someone not already familiar with the animatronics.
Having said that, a lot of things that should have been twists and reveals were pretty obvious to me, but to someone who isn't familiar with the source material, they may be genuinely surprised.
Despite a couple glaring typos and editing errors, I'd still recommend this book to anyone who thinks robots are scary.
-the adults were NOT portrayed as dumb and useless, thank god.
-the pacing was PERFECT. Each chapter served a purpose and no scene felt like it dragged on or felt too rushed.
-a great narrative for both fans of FNAF and people looking for a thrilling, standalone story.
