HASH(0x9ef4fd14) out of 5 stars Jason Will Wait Forever Oct. 31 2014

Boy was this an interesting read because usually both characters have some major issues in their back grounds but Jason he's pretty well, normal I guess you can say. He's always wanted though what his other band members have wanted love, marriage, children but he won't tell them that. He's a bit jealous at times but for him that's about it. He's the 'sensible' one and probably my 2nd favorite in the band. He's the jokester take no s*** and gives it right back kind of man. Then we have Raven, my oh my does this woman have some major self loathing and self esteem issues but rightfully so. I can't really blame her for the way she acts its how she was treated as she was growing up. I won't give to many spoilers away cause I truly wanted a lot of back ground on Raven wanting to know more about her cause she would just lash out at anyone at any time the mood struck and I swear to God for no apparent reason. She thinks the world owes her and half of me thinks well, I think the world does but she got out she was saved by her 2 best friends and one of them their parents took her in at the age of 10. I cried during the part that revealed part of her past and I got to understand why she was that way around people. Can you blame her? Once you read it you will understand. When Raven and Jason get around each other you would think Raven is going to kill him and I mean that literally. She is just so stand offish with him. Hell in the beginning she doesn't even realize he's part of the band all because he doesn't have tats so he let's her believe that and someone she thinks she right. She confronts the others in the house saying he's an impostor using the band's status and of course Gage and Zepp go along after they got a wink from Jason they pretend to kick him out and Gage goes on this ramp page that had me laughing out loud thinking to myself I can't wait for this to come back and bite Raven right in her ass. And of course it does. But it also seems to break a little bit of that wall she's built up around herself and her Jason start to get a long a lot better.

He gives her the space she needs to find herself because truly she needs help, she needs to talk to someone about her past and that someone needs to be a professional for she will slowly self-destruct. This book had some ups and downs and I won't lie it took me awhile to like Raven but Jason being the way he is always wanting to go that extra length to help others well I understand why he wanted her. He wants to protect, cherish, hold, and love her forever. That's the whole point of the story.

"Baby, we'll move forward at a slow pace. I know you're not able to d it fast, even though I would like you too. I'm not about to rush you into anything you're uncomfortable with. We will get to future when we''re there. Like I said last night, its one day at a time. I know that if I rush this I risk losing you, and you're not something I'm willing to part with. All you have to do is tell me, talk to me, and if you promise to do that, I can promise you that I'll be here waiting for you to say when your ready to take each step. I'll hold your hand and let you guide me, I'm not saying that sometimes I won't want to reach out and tug on the reins to run in full force in another direction, taking shortcuts to our future, that's when you'll have to tell me." Jason makes it clear to Raven he will do what ever it will take and give her the space and time she needs to heal and he's willing to wait for her.

"I would of have waited forever. I would have held on."

its going to be sad see to see this series end. I've been in it from book 1 and have truly enjoyed watching A.L. Wood grow more and more with her writing. Thank you for another awesome read in the Rock Romance Series!!!!!!

HASH(0x9ef4ff60) out of 5 stars Awesome story! Dec 16 2014

Forever Hold On is the story of Jason and Raven. I absolutely loved their story. If you have followed the series you know that they had already previously met briefly at a bar when Abigail and Gage met. Raven is Abigail’s friend and she has a dark past, one that haunts her and makes her behave the way she does. Jason is just one of the guys from the band, pretty easy going but finds that he likes Raven more than he should. The story is very fast paced. They didn’t quite fall in love right away but because the story is short you feel like they do. I really wanted more in the story, I felt like I needed to know more about the characters but I really loved Jason. There was a lot of steam in the story, the author sure knows how to write a great sex scene. They were really hot. Recommended if you have read the previous books in the series, read them in order tho so that you can follow the story and don’t feel lost. This is a great series and one of my faves when it comes to Rock stars.

HASH(0x9ef5e1bc) out of 5 stars Finally letting go and finding happiness Oct. 31 2014

I was gifted a copy of this book.

I think this is my favorite book in this series. Raven and Jason made me want to love them. They were not even friends and yet something about each of them drew the other. They each gave as good as they got. Raven has some serious issues and Jason's life has been Norman Rockwellish. They work through their issues and figure out the together they are stronger than they are alone. It is not going to be easy but they will find their future. I always enjoy reading A.L. Wood's work. She has a freshness to her writing. She makes me want to like and love her characters, sometimes even the "bad guy/girl". She makes me laugh and cry. This to me is the hallmark of a great story and a talented writer. Do I want to go back for more? Have I been to ride the emotional roller coaster? The answer is always yes with A.L. Wood.

A.L. Wood out did herself with this one. I couldn't believe what Raven had went through in her life. Reading about her past made me cry and want to reach in the pages to give her a big hug. Jason is by far an amazing man. wow. loved the story.

"Someday, I'll find you Jase." "In that case, I'll be holding on, forever.

"I would have waited forever. I would have held on." I smash my lips into hers.

I would recommend this book to any reader.
