Abel Gunner is a rock-star with legendary skills both in and out of the bedroom. He swore he wouldn't fall for another woman after being schemed and manipulated by an ex-lover. He kept that vow until he met Gia Mastro. The Dom inside of him awoke the moment he set eyes upon the submissive beauty. His dark soul hungered for her submission and affection. The deep connection they share leaves him desperate for something he never expected – her love. Her pain brings him the pleasure he craves. Her smile calms the beast that rages within him. Gia loves Abel more than life itself, but Abel is disillusioned by love and wrecks Gia in the process. Her life hangs in the balance. His life depends on forgiving her. This couple must face many truths. Is love enough to overcome the damage that dwells within? Gia’s experiences with love have been nil until meeting the infamous bad-boy rocker, Abel Gunner. Swept up in a mind-bending, Dom/submissive love affair, she’s forced to make decisions that both help and hurt their relationship. They both have to face their demons before they can embrace a future together. In the end, they’re faced with two choices: Fight for their love, or die with their demons.

So after enjoying saving Abel (Book one in rocker series) so much I had to jump right in to forgiving Gia as I had to know what happened after that cliff hanger. I was not left disappointed at all.

What I really love about Gina's writing is how much you feel the characters and fall in love with them.

Abel and Gia love each other so fiercely and after some intervention from others that care we finally see these two headed towards their future and happiness and we also get back those HOT BDSM scenes!!!!! Gina really knows how to write a good sex scene *Blushing*

Forgiving Gia is definitely not with out drama, this book is fast paced with lots of OMG moments, did not see that coming moments and I was on the edge of my seat at one big dramatic scene as I was praying for a good outcome.

This book has lots of suspense and really causes concerns as to who Abel and Gia can really trust, as not everyone is who they appear to be and that in itself made this book a dramatic must read,

This book really provides a deeper understanding of Gia and Abel and delves into their pasts and also gives more insight into the abuse Gia had inflicted on her while growing up it also highlights both of their fears and insecurities. I really feel that Gia and Abel really mature and grow together.

We still have great scenes with the supporting characters which really make this book come together.

I won't give anything away in this review as it is a must read, it will make you laugh cry scream and make your E-Reader Steam up as well as leaving you feel all warm and fuzzy! (Not many books can do all that)

Well done Gina, I loved this book!!!!
Now I am off to complete the series with Avenging us.

Let me start this review off by saying if you are NOT into books with a hot alpha male, a feisty female and an lot of incredible sex then this book is NOT for you.

Sometimes you run into books that are all about the sex and the story without the sex is blah. This is not the case with Forgiving Gia. The story outside of the sex is amazing. It kept me hanging on. The drama between the two main characters is off the charts.

At the end of Saving Abel my heart was broken for Gia. I loved how this story picked up exactly where the other one left off. Sometimes I got so mad at Abel, I could see that he really loves Gia, but actions speak louder than words and he needed his butt kicked sometimes.

The thing I didn’t like about this story was that it ended with the idea that there will be a third book in this series and I just don’t want to wait any longer to find out what happens to these two.

I loved Forgiving Gia! Great follow up from Saving Abel which ended on a huge cliffhanger. But, thank goodness Forgiving Gia didn't and there will be a continuation of Abel & Gia's story with a conclusion in the next book. Of course that book can't come soon enough. Forgiving Gia is as HOT as Saving Abel was if not maybe a little more. There is a lot of HOT sex in this book. And, Abel is definitely an Alpha male! If you haven't already read Saving Abel you need to read it before you read Forgiving Gia! This Rocker Series is a must read in my opinion.

Gia and Abel are two very different souls but soulmates all the same. Abel is a very intense rock god and Gia his muse! Their journey into love is filled with incidents that greatly test their relationship from attempted suicide to attempted murder. Their lives are being manipulated by one crazy jealous ex! A really good read!

HASH(0x97cce3d8) out of 5 stars Astonishing... Oct. 20 2014
By wish2btlc - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Where do you even begin with this book? Saving Abel was a panty ripping story that pulled you in from word one, but Forgiving Gia...there are no words to describe this book. Amazing is the best I can come up with.

This book was such an emotional roller coaster ride...I could actually feel what the characters were feeling, and it gave great insight into the depth of the characters and just how much they had grown from book 1. I think I went through every emotion out there. From ugly crying, to elation, to pissed off...they all made an appearance. There were even moments I was concerned for the safety of my Ipad, for fear I might throw the thing out the window.

The way in which Gina is able to flawlessly pick up from the heart shattering conclusion of Saving Abel and just simply make the story flow as if there had never been a break was astonishing. You can always expect great story, great depth, lots of hot sex, foul language, earth shattering orgasms and great character depiction in Gina's work. I never walk away wishing that there was more insight to her characters. Gina gives you plenty of details about her main characters, Gia and Abel, and even the supporting characters to actually allow you to visually see the story take place before your eyes. It leaves you with a better ability to grasp how the characters ended up the way they did and why they are the way they are.

If you have not read Saving Abel, go get that first and then make sure you pick up your copy of Forgiving Gia. You will not regret it. Your nights will be full of Abel Gunner...and let me tell wouldn't want it any other way!!!

Gina, this is some of the best work I have seen in a while and I am so happy for you. You did amazing and I look forward to the next in the series...NOW GET TO IT! :)

HASH(0x97cce450) out of 5 stars The Man Behind The Dom Oct. 20 2014

*****I was given an ARC from Gina Whitney (the author) in exchange for an honest review******

I honestly wish there was a way to give Forgiving Gia more than just a measly five stars, this book was THAT incredibly well written. Because in truth, it was written on a deeper level than Saving Abel was written. In Saving Abel, we met Gia and Abel and got to know them in a...for lack of a better a very intimate way. The same cannot be said about Forgiving Gia, because this book was written for the reader to look past the physical and get to know Abel and Gia on a deeper, emotional, more meaningful level.

We literally pick up right where Whitney left us hanging--does anyone remember that sucker-punch to the gut cliffhanger? Gia is just devastated that Abel literally walked away from her, never once looking back as he boarded his private jet to Europe. Of course, I can't actually tell you what happens on that tarmac, that would just be mean, but I can tell you that Gia and Abel are brought back together. However, they must find a way to work past their extreme trust issues, their penchant for jumping to conclusions without first talking to the other, and they have to figure out if their relationship is more than just hot sex.

For me, Forgiving Gia was by far my favorite book, because you finally get an inside look at who the man behind the Dom is, and he's a fascinating creature. You get some of your questions answered, but it wouldn't be a true Gina Whitney book if she didn't raise more questions than answer them. I connected with Gia and Abel more in this book than I did in Saving Abel, mainly because they're forced to actually talk about their problems to one another and figure out ways to work around them. To me, the emotional connection speaks volumes, and there were a couple of times that I actually felt heartbreak over the things Gia and Abel were forced to endure in their childhoods.

For those of you who liked scenes in Saving Abel, rest assured that Gina Whitney will NOT disappoint you in any way shape or form. Let's just say that Abel brings his A-game to the bedroom, armed with an interesting arsenal. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking for some hot sex and emotional connections. But be might end up falling for a certain Silver Fox that Abel calls....Dad.

HASH(0x97cce708) out of 5 stars Forgiving Gia Oct. 20 2014
By The Book Chick - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
My Rating: 4½☆

Gina Whitney continues Abel Gunner and Gia Mastro's story from Saving Abel in Forgiving Gia. I have to admit that I was fairly ambiguous about Saving Abel -- especially for most of the story. I just thought Abel and Gia were over the top with their reactions and responses to one another. I just didn't like them together. However, as the story evolved, I began to understand who they both were as we gleaned glimpses into their backgrounds. By the end of Abel, I was left speechless. Gia's past was a wreck and her mother, Medusa was loathable.

When Forgiving Gia opens, Gia has made a drastic decision -- she tries to end her life. She sees no future or life for herself since she has lost Abel after he discovers Gia's past. Gia is distraught and lost. But fate intervenes in the form of Abel's father and his friend Chance. Gia's life is turned on its ear as they hatch a plan to get Gia and Abel back together. And it this plan has to go into effect immediately because Abel is self-destructing and badly. Once Abel and Gia get back together, their relationship seems to change and this is where my feelings changed toward them. Abel and Gia are very sweet and endearing in this story. Abel lays his heart on the line and Gia turns her hurt and her past over to him. I really enjoyed seeing the evolution of their relationship and their love. But sadly, fate throws a lot of obstacles in their path. Addiction, jealousy, and attempted murder threaten to treat them apart. It was endearing to see how they worked through those challenges together.

The only small thing I did not "like" was the happy for now ending. I know...I know...I'm spoiled but I love my happily ever-afters. I desperately wanted that for Abel and Gia in Forgiving Gia but I'm so happy with how the story ended for them and can't wait to see what else Whitney has in store for them...something tells me we haven't seen the last of Medusa and Morganna -- hussies! LOL

HASH(0x97ccec24) out of 5 stars A MUST READ!! Oct. 20 2014
By Amber Karas - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
How do I even begin this review?? To be quite honest, this book was as much of an emotional roller coaster as I expected it to be. Like, tear your heart out and stomp it on the floor to elated, jump around the room kind of emotional roller coaster. I went from full blown ugly crying within the first two chapters to silently celebrating when Abel and Gia got through their differences. While there were some predictable bits in the book, there were also unexpected twists and turns. I loved “watching” Abel and Gia grow closer to each other as they worked on their relationship. Gina Whitney has such a way with words that left me spellbound. One moment I was swooning over the sweet words that she wove into creation, while others I wanted to throw my kindle in frustration. Before I spoil the book for everyone, I am going to end by saying this is one of the best books I have read to date. Gina Whitney is by far my favorite author! She has set my expectation bar so high, she may have just ruined other authors for me! Go get this book! It definitely will not disappoint!!

Gia Whitney does it again!! Able Gunner, the panty-melting rocker Dom makes you feel his anguish over losing the love of his life..Gia Mastero. Gia is lost in a swirling vortex of pain that she caused Able. I laughed, cried, yelled, lusted & absolutely LOVED this book!! I was sucked right back in to the lives of Able & Gia. It had me hooked from page 1. Loved, loved, loved it!! One of the BEST books I've read this year!!!
