The Fountain is a well written stand alone YA novel that does not follow all of the standard tropes. I liked how you jump right into the action and then go back to find out how they got there. The ending was well crafted and satisfying. Even as an adult I was hooked and found it hard to put the book down. I actually finished it in one day. This would definitely make a great read for most teens.

A delightful book for tweens, teens and adults. The reader is easily transported to the New England town and Ava's new life with all its challenges. There was just enough mystery and intrigue to make me read it in one sitting. Looking forward to more books from Suzy Vadori.
