Unpredictable as always! A tad far-fetched with the Professor Felk character and probably time to move towards more realistic cases and villains. Can't wait for the next novel to see how things turn out, as the book is a two-parter. This should probably be stated in the description/summary, although for me, having read the series from the beginning, the only inconvenience is the wait......

Good yarn as always, but let me introduce you to a few proper Cockneys next time Robert.Reviewed in the United Kingdom on November 30, 2018
Another good tale from the author of my favourite book of all time (Swan Song), but he misses the mark with a London accent of the time and all I can hear in my head when his Cockneys speak is an American twang. Londoners say ‘me’ not ‘my’ etc...

Sharks aside it was greatReviewed in the United Kingdom on September 19, 2017
Much better than the last one, Robert McCammon returns to form in this rip roaring adventure set in a truly hellish London which is brilliantly evoked by the author. I rattled through it in 2 days. The only negative thing I have to say is that you really don't get schools of man eating sharks off the Welsh coast.

Good, but not as good as the previous 5 booksReviewed in the United Kingdom on February 1, 2019
A good read but definitely lost something of the previous books. The second half of the book was a bit darker, duller, less exciting and enthralling.
High toned sob
