Disillusioned divorcée and best-selling romance novelist Jillian Grayson suddenly can't write a chapter without her hunky male heartthrob suffering erectile dysfunction, an STD, or even worse. Brian Nash is great at tennis, but unlucky in love...and also the roommate and best friend of Jillian's son, Rob. When Rob brings Brian home for Spring Break, and Brian meets the surprisingly young and tennis passionate Jillian, their shared interest quickly develops into an intense mutual attraction. Will this unlikely pair give in to their sizzling attraction and become friends with benefits, or will they discover all of it is a really bad idea?

This book is basically about Jillian who is a very successful romance writer and recently divorced because she caught her husband cheating. She has been divorced for five years and has not had much luck in the dating field when Jillian's son, Rob, comes home from college for spring break and brings his best friend, Brian. Rob spends most of the holiday with his girlfriend so Brian and Jillian end up spending a lot of time together. They have a lot in common and are attracted to each other but don't want to act on it for many reasons. The main reason is that Jillian is Rob's mother but also because Brian is Rob's friend and he likes a girl from school named Natalie.

The character development is fantastic. I feel like I really know them. The chemistry between Brian and Jillian is amazing and I found myself routing for them, wanting them to be together and hoping the age difference wouldn't be a problem for them.

The writing style is very illustrative. Every aspect of this novel is fully developed in a manner that you can’t help but picture. The way the characters had so much fun when they were together made me envious. I felt such a range of emotions that I was actually surprised. I laughed, cried and I was worried at times.

I love this book and highly recommend it. There is just one thing left unanswered that I HAVE to know about so I ordered the rest of the series.

Jillian is an erotica book writer and since her divorce has been having issues with writing her next romance book. When her son Rob comes home from college for spring break he brings his best friend Brian home with him. Jillian and Brian have a few things in common, tennis and bad luck with the opposite sex. Will Brian help her out of her writing funk? What will happen between them?

I enjoyed this story. The characters are great and the story is funny. I look forward to reading the next book.

As someone else said, it drags a bit too long. I lost interest quickly. And too many "people" involved at the beginning so I sorta lost track and interest. I deleted it from my tablet after a few chapters.

The story drags on forever it seems. I honestly tried to read it through, but the lack of momentum did it for me, I stopped mid-course as I did not see the point of the story or where it was going...

Didn't think I would enjoy this book as much as I did. An older woman falling .for a younger man. Almost found the funny parts were place in the right areas of this story. I am so jeolous of her.
