HASH(0x9f3acc9c) out of 5 stars The book's information about Western Maryland is great. Nov. 4 2008
By Grandma - Published on
Format: Paperback
My husband and I had a wonderful weekend exploring Western Maryland due to this book. We have driven through Western Maryland many times and nothing seemed to make us want to stop and explore the area. This book did. We saw beauty, found a wonderful place to eat and enjoyed some simple shopping.

HASH(0x9f3accf0) out of 5 stars Nice aid to trips to Maryland or Delaware Sept. 15 2012
By Steven Peterson - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Recently, I knew that I was going to spend a couple days in Baltimore. I ordered this volume to serve as an aid in planning things out. It turns out that this modest investment was quite worthwhile.

The book, given my specific interest, helped outline and organize the Baltimore visit. The summary of restaurants worth visiting by area was helpful. The attractions discussion helped orient the things that we did while in the Inner Harbor. The culminating event was a game at Camden Yards (what a great stadium) with the Orioles against the Yankees. A fine game!

And this rather slender volume helped make the time in Baltimore all the better. Recommended for those looking to explore Maryland and Delaware.

information is ok in that it is very general. biggest problem was size of type it was printed in. type way too small and light. less generic info and more readable would be a huge plus.

HASH(0x9f3af0cc) out of 5 stars Great guide to Annapolis and Naval Academy Oct. 13 2013
By Grandpa Z - Published on
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This guide was extremely helpful. It identified Gibson's Lodging, which is a B&B just around the corner from the entrance to the Naval Academy. We planned on spending perhaps an hour at the Academy, however we enjoyed it so much that we spent the entire day. The B&B was also excellent.
