Review

From the Publisher

English abstract: The basic concept of this essay is to propose an analysis of religion in the post-modern West. This involves using a definition common in the social sciences (a belief system, providing meaning) as opposed to the definition more commonly used in the media and the courts that refers to the concept of the supernatural... In Fuite vol. 1, the following issues are examined: If all societies have a form of religion, what is the dominant religion in the West now? Which groups promote this religion? What are its presuppositions/dogmas? How does it recruit new adherents? Why is it an invisible religion? Might the media be considered an ideological or religious institution? Once a society has secularised does that mean religion has disappeared? What might are the implications of this religion? Does the concept of "tolerance" exclude censorship?
