Radiation Materials Science teaches readers the fundamentals of the effects of radiation on metals and alloys. When energetic particles strike a solid, numerous processes occur that can change the physical and mechanical properties of the material. I am using this as a recommended supplemental text for a class on Nuclear Materials. The actual class text is a manuscript in progress that is full of holes. This text does a very good job of filling the holes.
