I was able to run benchmarks at 4.8GHz and 5.0GHz with my i7 7700K (delidded) with no stability issues and the RAM correctly reads from the desktop.
Depending on your CPU cooler you may have to measure to make sure they will fit. I have a Noctua NH-D15, in order to use both fans I have to mount the fans on the back of the cooler towers and pull air through the cooler out the back of the case. I really don't mind this and there is no discernible difference between having the fans mounted on the front.
I had bought 2 sticks in September of 2017 and recently bought another 2 to upgrade to 32 GB for doing some small VM/ home lab stuff. I have had 0 issues with this RAM so far.
The RGB lighting can be run by their own software but its recommended you use the software for the RGB your going to be mainly using, in my case gigabyte's. It does indeed sync with the program, abet probably looks prettier out of the box but if customization is important and you don't want conflicting software then don't mix software!
Ultimately, i do recommend this.
It is very easy to put it to it's clock speed through the "BIOS/UEFI" and click the XMP option, boom you now have 3200MHz, Not sure how AMD works but usually the same concept by browsing through the "BIOS/UEFI". KEEP IN MIND, if you can only reach MHz of 3000, 2800 it is most likely your Motherboard. Majority of the time it is because the user purchased a motherboard which doesn't support overclocking. MAKE SURE you buy a good motherboard! If you are building an RGB build get these. You wont regret it!
The price for RAM right now is terrible and this isn't worth the asking price. If prices normalize to where they should be then this is a quality product to buy.
Anyhow, RAM works, looks pretty, easy to set colours through Asus Aura. Loaded XMP profile just fine. Very happy with this kit!

Please note, however, that I run a Ryzen system - I wasn't aware of this before I made this purchase and had to do a lot of troubleshooting, but Ryzen systems (particularly 1st gen) do not play nice with high speed memory. After much tweaking and overvolting, mine runs stable but only at 3066Mhz.
I am not factoring this in to my review score, as this was a lack of research and user error on my part - but if you are buying this for a Ryzen system, consider saving money and buying the 3000Mhz kit instead. Most ryzen systems flake out above a memory frequency of 2988Mhz or so, so buying a 3200Mhz set of memory is likely to not work properly at its rated speeds unless they are made specifically for Ryzen - which these are not.
The silicon lottery does factor in to this, so you might be able to get high speed memory to work fine for you, but I could not.
I'm currently running them at 3466mhz with the basic 16-18-18-38 timings at 1.376v and it passes prime95+Heaven running together for several hours.
Overall they are a little pricey, but performance is great and the look great, when I have more time I'll try messing with tighter timings.
The installation was very easy, did have to take them out once or twice due to them not making contact very well at the start. A bit difficult to pull out if they are side by side. Other then that, they work wonders. Upgraded from 2133 mhz RAM's to these 3200's. So many FPS gains.
The only downside for me, was not even a week after this kit dropped £15.
They should try making some fake memory ones just to allow you to fill all the slots, but still, offer the LED effect, and stop any dust getting inside unused slots.
Not everyone needs to use all the slots on motherboards, for me, I have four slots, and I really only needed to use two, and give me two more for future upgrades.
It's sat in an Asus Aura mobo and everything including the ram and case (phanteks) is all in sync.
