HASH(0x9afcd1e0) out of 5 stars USB ports randomly come and go Dec 11 2014
By George - Published on Amazon.com
Works great most of the time, a few issues though. When I first set it up, it didn't want to output display, after disassembling and reassembling it a few times it eventually worked.

Another issue I had, USB ports randomly stop working, even while in use, sometimes start working again in a few seconds, other times it'll take a restart before that specific port works again. Can usually avoid it by making sure each USB is plugged in a different row, it doesn't seem to like two things plugged in side by side (like a keyboard and mouse).

If what you plug in uses a lot of speed (like an external hard drive), the other port will usually not work until the adjacent one stops transferring a bunch of data. (My mouse stops working whenever my external drive is transferring files).

Google "GIGABYTE UD4H usb ports randomly not working" and you'll see this is a common problem.

HASH(0x9ae83e1c) out of 5 stars Buyer beware - Horrible Customer Service from Gigabyte Aug. 7 2014
By Dean - Published on Amazon.com
Motherboard died in less than 1 month. I RMA'd it back to Gigabyte. (Beware they don't cover the shipping, all expenses are on you.) They've had it for over 1 week already and it's still listed as "under repair". I can't believe they are trying to repair it instead of just sending out a new one. No status updates at all from them.

Very frustrating to deal with such slow and lazy warranty service for such a new product. Had I known about Gigabytes terrible warranty service, I would have never bought any of their products. Lesson learned.
HASH(0x9aedc4b0) out of 5 stars I have noticed that it sometimes may not like generic hardware March 8 2016

Overall, I really don't have any major gripes about this motherboard. It functions exactly as I need it to and I haven't had any issues.
I have noticed that it sometimes may not like generic hardware. I purchased a wi-fi adapter from Monoprice to use with this board and I was getting some strange GPU stutters. In Windows 7, disabling the wifi adapter solved the problem, but in Windows 10, disabling the on-board graphics solved the problem. Overall, I wouldn't say that it is an actual problem with the hard drive though. I would definitely reccomend this motherboard to someone inquiring.

HASH(0x9ae0b378) out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE GOOD LUCK! Aug. 17 2014
By Eric James - Published on Amazon.com
Do not buy this motherboard unless you are a gambler. This motherboard gave me nothing but trouble in the installation process and I come to find that when everything is plugged in and all the fans are running, it does not send display to the monitor. After days of tinkering and searching the web for an answer still no success. With a terrible return policy and the fact I paid to have it shipped back left a very bad taste in my mouth. Do not buy unless you wish to fork over cash to a terrible company.
