At the time I ordered this Motherboard, Amazon did not have many 1150 board available, I am glad this was one of them. I am upgrading from a i5 750 and a matx board w/ not many features on it. I picked up a i5 4670k and The GA-Z87 OC. This board has more features than you can shake a stick at especially considering what I was upgrading from. I got an easy 4.1 GHZ oc out of my chip. I could go higher but for the moment I am enjoying the extra zoom zoom of the haswell cpu. If you like to tweak, have more than one GPU or want to swap between power saving w/ on board video and power hungry gaming, this board is for you. Turn off your PICe 1 slot w/ a flick of a switch and enjoy energy savings when you are not gaming. If you like overclocking, you can play in the Bios, change your speed on the board itself, or using the software provided. The bios, it is amazing, very easy to navigate w/ your mouse or keyboard, and again, more options than you would expect from a Motherboard at this price. I really like this motherboard and after a few months of use, very happy w/ my purchase!

HASH(0x9eeb1aec) out of 5 stars Good bord just a little buggy. Aug. 5 2013

-Works well with tons of options, looks cool and came with quality hardware, easy to flash bios from inside bios, easy to set up raid-0.

-3 out of 4 times I go into bios and hit "save and exit" it will lock up making me hit the restart button. It does this with old and new bios versions. I even tried it without changing any options and it can still happen. Just anoying but not a deal breaker.

This mobo rocks. It can do anything that you may wish to do with overclocking. It has a very nice look to it and has been running great for a couple months now.

HASH(0x9bdbd438) out of 5 stars Decent bios, clean layout Jan. 21 2014

As stated above, the bios is pretty good to work with (although it defaulted my 1600 MHz ram to 1333, so check the details!), and the layout is pretty clean for custom builds. Mine currently has an i7-4770k, 32 gb (4x8) of ram, 2 ssd's, a storage drive, and 1 pci-e vid card. It fits all those decently-- I also do not have a blu-ray or DVD player, but I'm assuming that connection wouldn't take up too much space.

Two gripes-- plugging in SATA cables is kind of a pain if the board is screwed in before the SATA is connected, but I think you get that with most motherboards because of the standardized layout. The other gripe I had was that I was unable to mount my Cooler Master TX3 CPU cooler onto it because of issues with being able to reach the plug pins. Maybe it's because I have fat sausage fingers, or maybe it's because I didn't have the homo erectus mental capacity to use a tool to press it in. Either way, I just didn't want to go through the hassle of spending 20 minutes to plug in a CPU cooler, so it's sitting on my desk, with thermal paste all over its face. Hot.

Worked great on install, have had zero problems with it. Plenty of ports to go around, so you can connect all your goodies.

I do like this motherboard but I don't love this motherboard for the simple fact I should have bought a gaming motherboard from the get go! I currently am running 2 cards in SLI but I don't get the benefit like I would with some other boards that are even cheaper this board as stated runs at 8x and 8x when in SLI but I am unsure if that is even the case I feel it is more like 8x and 4x I could be mistaken but the performance is a factor for me everything else about this board is pretty solid. I read also about the Bios and have experienced the same problems the settings don't save propperly and my motherboard keeps going back to default I have fixed this now and it works fine except now its time for a upgrade.
