This is a great volume for those of you with a lot of sporty kids who love to be active.

HASH(0xa67d018c) out of 5 stars lots of fun games, not much for small youth groups May 27 2007
By Jennifer Olsen - Published on Amazon.com

I bought this book in hopes there would be some great games for my single digit youth group. But they consider "small" to be 30 or less, and we are WAY less, so there aren't many in there that will work for us.

That said, there are TONS of fun games for larger groups, young or old. I've loaned it to the group in charge of our all church camp out. It is a great resource for the church in general, so despite my disappointment in the youth group applications, I'm still glad I purchased it.

HASH(0xa68bc300) out of 5 stars Use this every week! March 28 2011

I use this (or Games 2 or 3) every Wednesday night for our youth group games, and I've found good special activity games in these books as well! They are a life saver and I recommend them to every youth leader who has a part in planning activities or games.

HASH(0xa6b392a0) out of 5 stars Pretty Schweet!!! May 3 2013
By Lord of Camels 17 - Published on Amazon.com

Been a fan of Youth Specialties for decades but never picked up this product: awesome resource! The kids have a great time, often requesting to repeat last weeks game tonight! At our group, the leaders rotate game assignments, and the team loves how 'creative and innovative' the games I bring to the table are... What's great is I've been pulling games just from the first two chapters, and still have he rest if the book plus an entire volume to go thru!
