Product Description

Whatever you're up to, keep your Gator Fixed blade knife handy. It's famous for its patented Gator Grip handles, which has no peer when it comes to all-out grip. The inner core of the handle is glass-filled nylon. Then we chemically bonded it to the outer surface, which is molded Santoprene rubber.creating a soft, tactile grip over a very strong structure. All these years later, and no one's topped it.

HASH(0x9e2c7c18) out of 5 stars great sturdy blade Oct. 4 2009

Nothing fancy here, just a stout, sharp blade. I wanted something that was full-tang and not serrated. It fits my (big) hands perfectly and takes a lot of hard use. The grip is hard rubber, which helps maintain a grip when working in damp conditions, as well as making it more comfortable overall.

HASH(0x9dbd5d8c) out of 5 stars Great USA Made Knife Jan. 30 2011

I have owned this knife for a few years now and have been very pleased. The knife is very sharp, sturdy and well built. The blade has retained a very sharp edge with use. The handle is also comfortable and has provided a positive grip both in dry and wet condition. The sheath has a hard insert that makes it appear very sturdy. The sheath feels and looks safer to me than many other fixed blade knives on the market. Best of all this is an American made product. I recommend this knife to anyone looking for a quality, American built, fixed blade knife.

HASH(0x9e59115c) out of 5 stars Awesome Knife - One of the Best on the Market Feb. 2 2015

Awesome knife. Everything you need and nothing you don't. I bought two for my son and his girlfriend which they can use when hiking and camping. It is extremely tough. Hard edge which will stay sharp for a long time. Yes, difficult to sharpen for an amatuer, but worth the price to have a local shop fix back up for you. The best grip on the market. Got non-folding as this is safer for camping and field work.

I bought this because I still have the Gator folding lockback I bought to use over 20 years ago as a utility knife when I was in the military. It has been great for field work, camping, and now mostly as an opener for my wife's boxes that arrive almost daily. It was immediately comfortable and useful the day I got it. I've only had to sharpen it a couple of times.

Decent cheap knife. Used to gut a deer. Needs sharpening after one buck. But that's expected.
