One day Geronimo Stilton was relaxing in his cozy living room and drinking cheese fondue with a plate full of cheesy dishes such as pizza and mozzarella muffins. He was completing a jigsaw puzzle of new mouse city it was very tricky. Then suddenly the table started to shake and a voice called GERONIMO STILTON when Geronimo heard that voice he knew it was his adventurous friend Bruce Hyena. He knew what Bruce was going to do, invite him on a wild adventure. This time they were going to Africa.
When they got to Africa Geronimo didn’t know he was climbing a mountain. Then Bruce told him exactly why he was here. Geronimo was shocked because he does not like sports but then he couldn’t turn back so he went with Bruce. Before they reached the mountain they were greeted by Baraka a friendly tour guider. It was time to start climbing again so they went higher each day they would stop at a cabin to refresh and then start hiking again. Geronimo was very tired and didn’t want to continue but he did and he kept a journal every day. Geronimo managed to climb the mountain and was really happy he did.
I enjoyed this book as it wasn’t a typical Geronimo mystery, instead it was about Geronimo believing in himself and wanting to accomplish something that was tough to do. I like the fact that Geronimo was scared and complained a lot he showed bravery and managed to get to the top.
