GETTING TACKLED EXCERPT: Copyright 2014 Lorraine Loveit
"He came to me then, kneeling on the bed before me. He grasped my shoulders, supporting me as he bent down for a deep kiss. It was sensual and gentle; not the type of kiss I was expecting. He lifted his head, his eyes watching mine almost like he was assessing if I was ready. I was as ready as I was ever going to be.

He stared at me with a smouldering look and casually hooked his thumbs under the shoe-string straps of my nightie to ease them off my shoulders, down to my elbows. He smiled wickedly as he eyed my now-revealed breasts. Not satisfied with me being half-naked, his fingers lazily pushed the straps lower, until they fell from my arms and the red silky garment sat in a pool around me."

HASH(0xa2105900) out of 5 stars Getting Tackled June 8 2014

I received a copy of this story in exchange for an honest review.

This is book two in a series of four, the story was written to be able to be read as a stand alone. The main characters have an undefined relationship. At times you feel like they are a couple with wild bedroom habits and at other times it seems as Brendan the male lead doesn't even like his "girl friend". I think book three in the series will help tie in the emotional separation within the couples relationship. Which should enhance the storyline. Overall the author has an easy to read writing style and the bedroom scenes have some heat. Enjoyable read.

Brendon and Suzie.

Brandon is a professional football player for the Croc' s. He's placed an add in the paper for a Submissive Slave, with the promise of total privacy.

Suzie is a Secretary for the police department. She is looking for more in her life than just dating cops, and other guys who just don't do it for her. So she finds herself answering an add from a guy who is seeking a slave- submissive partner, that promises privacy. Suzie likes this part because all she needs is someone from work finding out she's a Submissive. This won't be hard to do since she's surrounded by a bunch of nosey detectives.

This is a good read. It's easy to follow. The characters are realistic, and not over the top. Please note, there is some light bdsm scenes. 18+ suggested.

HASH(0xa1e2df9c) out of 5 stars Hot Read From Down Under June 1 2014

Like the first book, Bounce Down, I really enjoyed reading this book. I still am not thrilled with Brendan, but I find myself enraptured with were the author might be taking this relationship. I am a little confused at were Leon fits into this story and hope that book 3 sheds some light on him. I love all the quirky Aussie terminology throughout the book and am really happy the author included a glossary of Australian football rules at the end to help me. Great job Lorraine!!!

A hot, sexy read that I definitely recommend to those who like these types of books!

Suzie. Suzie. Suzie. This woman makes you so frustrated that you have to keep reading to see what will happen next. As for Brendon, this is truly one mercurial man. These two as a couple will keep you entertained while driving you crazy. Already bought next book can't get off this crazy emotional ride.

HASH(0xa1cfa624) out of 5 stars Excellent Read! June 1 2014

Getting Tackled is the second book by Australian author Loraine Loveit.
Her book is a love story about Suzie and Brendon who share a passive/dominant relationship. Although I had never read this type of story before, Loveit writes in a manner where the scenes in the book are easy for me to imagine but in no way offensive.
Suzie, the main character, is new to dominance and Loveit does a great job of making this kind of a relationship easy to understand. She does this by taking the readers through the basic aspects of dominance into its more kinky side through the experiences of a naïve but willing Suzie.
The plot is interesting and readers will like its many twists and subplots. She does a great job of weaving a solid love story with the one constant aspect of domination and passive acceptance by its two characters.
It was well written and I would recommend it to any adult.
