Where Vancouver (Where Vancouver 2012-12-03)
A gorgeous book ... Eating a raw food diet fits into the increasingly popular slow food movement, the idea that we need to slow down, enjoy and fully appreciate how and with what we are nourishing our bodies. Gorilla Food makes it easier to do just that.
Vancouver is Awesome (Vancouver is Awesome 2012-12-11)
Not just vegan but raw and organic, this cookbook from an acclaimed Vancouver restaurant chef is a delightful surprise: temptingly inventive, beautifully photographed and formatted, and accessible for anyone (not just raw foodies or vegans) wanting to cook more healthfully.

It has become my go-to book for gifting to others. I have yet to have a disappointed recipient.
Half the battle on the road to great health and vitality is education, once the intellectual foundation is laid you only have to live your life the way you would and the little bits and pieces you've picked up will create an avalanche effect in your life.
It's no secret that raw food is packed with nutrition, energy and life! So the more recipes you have under your belt and the more little tips and tricks you can use in the kitchen the better. After reading this (and implementing into my own life) I'm finding eating totally raw meals at a frequent basis very easy and also enjoyable.
Check it out, eat something new, throw a raw-vegan party for your friends, it's fast, easy, delicious and dope as hell.
The Thai Wraps especially while time consuming are worth the effort.
The raisen chutney is addictive!
Do yourself a huge favour though & buy a dehydrator and a decent food processor also, get serious about making good-for-you food then get uncooking!
*Delicious & creative recipes
*Emphasis on quality ingredients
*From Gourmet to Simple recipes
*Professional Raw Chef Tested!-the ingredient combos work!
Cons: only one
*several recipes require multiple & lengthy prep steps.
