This book was 10 times better than I ever thought it would be. You often read blurbs about page turners and books being unable to be put down, and its usually bunk. This book, I couldn't put it down. And its a historical narrative, not a pulp fiction. Great great reading and an entertaining read. It would seem stupid for Hitler to have simply shot himself, considering the great pains and efforts made for escaping Nazis in South America. I really recommend this book, and I am not that easily impressed.

I cant wait to travel to Patagonia and see some of the sights where Adolf and the many Nazis lived and continue to live. I believe the evidence in this book. Hitler never died in Europe. He lived in Patagonia to a ripe old age and died in the 1960's.

This is a very interesting and enjoyable read. The knowledge of the writer and the amount of research that went into the book is amazing. From a commercial aspect it is fascinating how Nazi wealth was diverted from Germany to Spain and Argentina.

We all know that Nazis escaped to Argentina in U-Boats in 1945, some of whom we know the identify of, and others we don't. There is a chance that Hitler may have been one on of those U-Boats? I believe so but I am certainly not convinced that he did, in fact, live near Bariloche until 1962. Interesting idea and theory but I am still a skeptic.

a lot of the early part of the book seemed like filler, not pertinent to the escape of hitler. there is not a lot of detail about hitler after he reached argentina. the book makes his escape plausible, but it is not totally convincing.

This book is a genuine eye opener. If Eichmann and Bormann and entire 'armies' of Nazis could manage to escape to Argentina, what would have stopped Hitler? The details on the U-Boats surfacing in Argentina after the war, along with the huge fortunes of Nazi loot transferred to Latin America make this a most valuable work on World War II history!
