The item works fantastically. It's fast and I had no issue with mounting my hard drive into it. Problem was: the item arrived in not new condition. It was scratched and covered in finger prints. HDE's customer support was difficult to deal with and kept asking the same questions over and over again.

Overall, 5/5 for item function.

The drive enclosure is a little bit hard to open. Once the drive enclosure opened it is easy to connect the hard drive and to reclose the enclosure. The product works very well. Le boîtier de disque est un peu difficile à ouvrir. Une fois le boîtier ouvert, il est facile de connecter le disque dur et de refermer le boîtier. Le produit fonctionne parfaitement.

thick and long cable, quite stiff.

enclosure has pretty good build quality, aluminum casing and very sleek.

hard drive fits perfectly inside and functions as advertised. enclosure is held together with one convenient screw at the back.

this drive was totally worth more than what I paid for it. 10.99

I just got this shipped to my house so we'll see how it holds up in the long run.

Works perfect but not really a necessity for me. If you need to carry your drive around this is better option than just a sata usb cable, it will protect your ssd to a fair extent.Seems well constructed ,and the pouch is a nice touch. Very convenient to use.

I am actually amazed at the speed of this drive enclosure....my usb 2.0 was copying at 25mb/sec, this new usb 3.0 doubles the speed at 55mb/sec...first time using a usb3.0 device for storage, and I love it! Great buy for the price, works great!

After working with it for a while finally figured out you had to slide the top to get it off.
