Normally, I find detergent really kind of boring. I bought some lululemon clothing which I rather liked. Except it started to smell. I would wash it in tide and within minutes of putting it on, it had a rancid smell. This was not really a problem with any of my cotton clothing. If I understand correctly, these are body oils which don't come off polyester clothing with normal detergents and they go rancid.
I was sad and going to stop buying lululemon stuff. I did some research and found this stuff. Gave it a try and holy crap it worked. My stuff smelled great, but incredibly it just feels new. I have thrown everything I have which is basically plastic based. Bike shorts, some jackets, etc. They feel like they are factory new.
I then gave this the ultimate test. I took my clothing on a long trip. Long as in many long layovers, lots of time on the plane, and then lots of walking at the destination. Basically, 24h in the same clothing. Very challenging not to be a stinky mess upon arrival. I wasn't. My clothing all felt like it was fresh.
