Great condition came earlier than expected absolutely looking forward to playing.

We haven’t played yet. But looking forward to playing all exercises look as though the can be modified for those with health issues who may not be able to do it the exact way on the card. Not sure why people commented about a time as the interval cards you draw can have any number on it. Most people have a cell phone that controls the timer. Or they have a echo dot, or other smart device including perhaps a fitness watch all of which have a time. You can get detailed instructions online by watching a video or you can physically read them which is fantastic. I’m sure our household is not the only household in which some learn better by watching and some learn better by reading and some learn better doing both. I learn best using both methods. Some learn better just by doing. So to me the game is completely intact, came earlier than expected. We are all excited to figure out a day that’s best for everyone to play. My situation makes it a little tricky as I have stage 4 mantle cell lymphoma. Third cancer since I was 13. This cancer is different though currently treatable however incurable, however my treatment options are limited due to the complicated Heath history and other factors. I have started a donation project to help others who are newly diagnosed and about to undergo treatment. If you would like to help please purchase anything from my wish list that says donations for newly diagnosed people. Pass the word along thank you so much for your time. I hope if you order this game for your family it will bring you closer as a family well having fun and everyone gets fit at the same time. If you would like to email me please do at nicolerenee298@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing how others like the game. If you need more details about my cancer donation project I’m happy to answer. Also I do accept Amazon gift cards, direct donations from my list, as well as item I need to purchase separately for the donation bags. I’m trying to cover all age groups if you have more ideas let me k ow those too. Also to the company of this game it would be wonderful if you have a game similar without the need for resistance bands you are willing to donate to my project. I’m not a registered charity but I will do my best to take a photo of anyone willing and on my Amazon page start a blog to show you the people who benefit from the generosity of others. I included it in my review as it was so encouraging to purchase something I can do.with my family.

The exercice deck is really cool and the exercices worth a good 5 stars. For the whole interval thing, expect yourself to scratch your head. The game includes cards that for the interval, but the instructions mention very unclearly the possibility to ignore those cards and make your own intervals. Which is just a confusing and useless way of writing instructions. Also, eventhought, the game is quite pricy for a deck of card, the interval timer is not included. You need to find an app and figure out how it works in order to play the game. The instruction mentions 2 free app, one is free just for one demo interval and the other is hard to find on the app store and also has to be configured specificaly for the game. Do not expect any useful help from Stack 52. Finally, I don't know if it is normal but the game I received included two identical deck. I asked Stack 52 if their product is two identical deck but they didn't answer the point.

Love this. You never have to pre plan your workout for the day. Grab some cards and get in a good workout amidst the hustle and bustle of the day. Also fun to do with the kids.

The game does its intended job as a workout. However, as a board game/card game enthusiast, there isn't much competition nor complex strategy. It's definitely a good way to randomize workouts, but is not what I had envisioned it to be as a card game. It's too positive/friendly; not enough friendships broken.
I'm currently trying to work on an alternate set of rules to turn this game into a strategic war of attrition. I'll post again if I do come up with anything.

My son is a competitive youth baseball player, and when I saw this game I thought it would be fun for him (10yrs old) to stay in shape for ball. He loves it! We only use it a couple times a week right now, but its a fun way to push each other!

Some much needed fun in the way of playing a game!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on February 13, 2018Verified Purchase
I've never personally been a fan of using cards to determine a workout, although I do see the value it adds... Some much needed fun in the way of playing a game! This is exactly what HIIT The Game By Stack 52 brings to the table (or gym if you like).
HIIT as I'm sure you'll already be aware stands for high intensity interval training. If you're unfamiliar with HIIT, I'll briefly sum it up for you... The idea is that you complete intense bursts of exercise at maximum effort in short intervals, followed by a rest interval. For example, 40 seconds of work, followed by 20 seconds of rest, then repeat. Studies have shown HIIT to be very effective in burning fat, muscle development and improving overall fitness levels.
Some personal trainers have for a long time, used playing cards to add some fun to workouts. A certain card is associated with a certain exercise, meaning your workout is built on the cards you pull. Stack 52 have stepped up by creating a card game to meet this very need which incorporates bodyweight exercises into a pretty interesting card game.
Included in the box is a huge stack of exercise cards each containing a bodyweight exercise. Each of the exercise cards have a name, photo, description, points value and a code in which you can scan for an exercise demonstration video, pretty cool ehh? There's also 2 dice, a set of interval cards, draw cards and strategy cards included. This game would be ideal to take on the road as the box is pretty small and of course, no equipment is needed!
Playing the game is pretty straight forward with no complicated rules that some card games like to introduce. You can view some rules on the Stack 52 website or even use the cards and make up your own rules. Roll the dice to determine the number of rounds you'll complete, deal a draw card for the number of exercises per round, pull an interval card, draw the exercise cards and finally... GET IT DONE! No real learning curve, it's very much pick up and play.
Don't think for one minute that this makes for an easy workout! As long as you really push yourself, it's very much the opposite! In all honesty, it really does make your HIIT session pretty fun. Adding a points system and playing with a friend or group adds some friendly competition to the mix... If you're working out solo, keep your scores and try to better them! Don't forget to include the strategy cards for some punishing (or rewarding) twists.

Fun, but as serious as you wish to make them.

These cards offer an extensive range of activities to help in raising both strength and fitness. The instructions are clear and usefully illustrated. To sample the full range of exercises and techniques it would be necessary to work through the cards systematically, but key areas acan be selected and focus concentrated on these. For home use they are invaluable. Either roll the dice or make your own personal choice of activities.

Terrible and not worth 20 pounds
Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on September 4, 2022Verified Purchase
It was incredibly dull and should not be called a game. Nearly all of the instructions are online and very unclear. The game has no purpose and even with a variety of workout cards.
Don't buy this for 20 pounds just go online and look up a workout it's the exact same thing.

Just what I needed to get me moving!
Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on November 6, 2017Verified Purchase
I have given myself seven months to get back in shape and be a fit Dad next summer. Like many people out there I struggle with time (and at times motivation) to go to the gym. I subscribed to tabata workout in my younder years and deciding what to do from the hundreds of body weight movements meant I am often frozen by choice.
Now, I just roll the dice, pull the cards and sweat. Next day feel a little sore but happy... First try I rolled a six on the die, pulled free exercises of each round was unlucky with the timing cards (60/30 and 40/20)!
