I wanted a boot to trek through the wet slushy disgusting snow we get in New York and wanted to match my husband's Lacrosse muck boot, so I ended up with this boot. It's soft and comfortable. I'm 5'1 and it fit almost to the bottom of my knee. At first when slipped it in the instep felt tight(I'm a 8-8.5 in shoes so I did a 9 in these) but they're new and rubber. Once I worked them in the house for about half hr it went in easily. Taking out though you have to be sitting as the back is a stiffer material and may cause you to tip if you're not holding onto something. The outer soles have grips so no sliding in hard snow and it crunches and goes through the soft mushy stuff like a excavator. It's a Real Tree Product which a guarantee that the quality is spot on. I've only had it a day and already I feel like it will last a while. I love the little pink dear head print accent on the back, wished these had come in an all pink style or even magenta...I have small feet so they don't look like I'm wearing a canoe on my feet. I match with hubby's Lacrosee so that's a plus. 1 point to note- I don't double sock with any boot but I did with this one and it was not necessary. The neoprene keeps you warm. I did buy Real tree Boot socks for these and will test them out when I receive them ...Delivery was fast although we had a snow storm just a few days back and all deliveries were being delayed. I have not had to deal with the company and probably won't seeing as the boot feels like a good quality product. Will update after 30days of use.
