How to use hair straighteners?
Hair straighteners are a versatile and user-friendly option in styling. They are most effective on clean, dry hair. Once switched on, allow the straighteners to reach their full heat. Different models have different notifications for this, such as a beeping sound or LED light. It’s easiest to style the hair in sections, so select the part you wish to start with and clip the rest back out of your way. Take your straighteners and carefully clamp the heated plates around the hair towards the root. Your grip should be firm enough that the hair slides out of the straighteners, but loose enough that you can move the straighteners without tugging on your hair. Steadily and evenly pull them down to the tip of your hair. Once satisfied, take the next section and repeat. The finer the hair, the less heat and length of time needed; while the thicker the hair, the more heat needed. Ensure you switch off and unplug your straighteners after use, and use due care when handling, as the plates can get extremely hot.
