Product Description

Set against the stunning vistas of the Alberta Rocky Mountains, HEARTLAND is a sprawling family drama that follows the Fleming sisters Amy (Amber Marshall) and Lou (Michelle Morgan) and their grandfather Jack (Shaun Johnston), through the highs and lows of life on a horse ranch.

Having realized their feelings for each other, Season Three unfolds with Amy and Ty (Graham Wardle) now a couple while Lou builds on her own blossoming romance, bringing interesting developments to their relationship. Ty's interest in helping animals has local vet Scott (Nathaniel Arcand) as his mentor, and Tim (Chris Potter) - Amy and Lou's father - is becoming more of a presence in his daughters' lives and he and Jack are beginning to get along. That is, as well as can be expected.

We live near High River so it is exciting to see where some of the scenes were done. Good series for a 'Canadian made' production. Unfortunate however that they can't make a film without swearing in it.

The characters are friends you want to do well and overcome obstacles. I laugh with them, cry with them, and do not have to brace myself for harsh language. Terrific family show.

The heartland season 3 I purchased from Amazaon.ca does not follow the sequence of episodes from the GMC version we get in the USA. The Canadian version of season 3 picks up with the Miracle episode which I already have on my season 2 GMC version purchased in the USA. Therefore, there are 15 duplicate episodes and only 4 new episodes.

I had not followed this series on T.V but now we don't have Cable or Sattelite T.V. We started watching this on NETFLIX and got hooked. We just finished watching Season 3 and am so glad that Season 4,5,and 6 are on the way. It is so easy to get caught up in the story. Really love the Hearland series!!!!!

Heartland is an excellent show. It is a show the whole family can watch. There is hardly any sexual content. All a viewer ever sees is a kiss. Which I really appreciate!! It has a good story line and good ol cowboy morals. It also has very good character development. A person can't help but fall in love with the characters, especially the grandpa, Jack!! Excellent show.

My wife and I love this show! We started watching it on Netflix and got to the last Netflix episode to find out we needed the last three to finish the season. Yes we bought the whole season to watch the last three and it was worth it! Bought season 4 too and now waiting for Season 5 release. Can't believe it they are finally on the CW here in Gainesville but they are old episodes...

I have purchased all of the shows from this series that are available to me. It is a nice show with good story lines. I also love the locations in which the series is filmed. I would have given it 5 stars but sometimes it gets boring with the characters not sharing what they really feel. But it is a good show and worth the price of the ticket. I live in the Alabama but I do love Canadian TV. No show I have ever seen can top "Flashpoint".
