Bought this backpack nearly 2 years ago. One of the best I ever had. So far I took it on two long European trips with lots of heavy loads including 17 inch laptop. It has survived lots of abuse on planes trains and buses. It has kind of awkward and hard to open zippers which give me a sense of security in places frequented by pickpockets. Protects well from mild rain even without the yellow cover which I only used once in a heavy downpour. I also take it everyday to work carrying lots of heavy papers and books. And it still looks like new.

Absolutely love these bags. The keep going and going and going. Would not buy anything else. The last High Sierra bag was
10 years old, and just starting to fall apart at the zipper. Owed me nothing. You get what you pay for.

Bought my first High Sierra back in early 2000's had all thick zippers and lasted a long time... this version uses cheap materials and thin zippers.. broke under load (laptop school books) under 6 mnths

Backpack has good capacity and pocket space, but already torn after only 2 weeks of owning it. A seam has already ripped out on the lining in between pockets.
