This thermostat is good for electric baseboard heating. It is suitable for frequent manual temperature changes. Holding the same temperature in the room, works very well when the correct heater size is used. Frequent manual changes will not affect the performance, it will bring the room temp to about +/-1.0C quickly. One major benefit using these thermostat is the ability of the thermostat to partially switch on of the heater. Have achieved approximately 10% power savings after using this thermostat.

An excellent basic non-programmable thermostat. The backlit display is easy to read at night, and this unit does a much better job of maintaining the room temperature than the Stelpro it replaced.
