HASH(0xa125fd68) out of 5 stars Kathleen rocks my world March 4 2001
By Mrs D. AwesomePants - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This single was kind of a "waste" being that all the tracks except one are on either of their 2 albums, (self-titled or From the Desk of Mr Lady), but as a hardcore fan of Kathleen Hanna... i had to buy it. If she put out a CD of herself reciting the dictionary, i'd buy it.. you know how it is. Unless, yr a hardcore fan, stick to the 2 albums.

If you already own Le Tigre's self-titled album, forget thatnew Sleater-Kinney CD and reserve yourself a copy of this craftylittle import record. If you don't own Le Tigre's full album, your $ would be better spent on that purchase first, simply because you'll experience a wider range of Le Tigre's instrumental/writing abilities. But don't forget to come back and buy this little gem of a record. The 41 Small Stars mix of "Hot Topic" is almost empowering, while "They Want Us To Make A Symphony.." is destined to be quoted by every girl/boy feminist who takes the time to listen to "Hot Topic" at least twice. Buy this!
