Bought this book and read it to my grandchildren over skype. They loved it, and so did I. They are ages 5 and 3. They sat attentively through the whole thing. Was that the book or the grandchildren.............. :)

How Full is your Bucket creates a visual feel of the effects of our actions on ourselves *and* others. I found it quite useful for even older boys to get a feel of what a bad word or an insensitive, seemingly funny, remark might do even to themselves.

My kids enjoyed the book and whenever one of them says or does the wrong thing to the other we jokingly go: "Buckets! Buckets!" that usually calms the air and makes them realize what they are doing. This metaphor also sometimes encourages them to do a nice thing to help "fill their and someone else's bucket".

I am glad to have added this book to my children's library!

I received this book as a gift from a colleague. It's a kids book that everyone of all ages can learn from. It was simple, heartfelt and easy to understand due to the visuals. I recommend this book to everyone, not just those with kids, because it's a valuable lesson as a human being.

Was worried the book might not be entertaining enough for my 4 and 6 year old but they giggle away about buckets over heads and have great conversations after the book each time, always different conversation depending on the day! Great tool to talk about things with the kids...

This is an excellent book! My daughter is three and loves it. It created quite a discussion afterwards and she totally gets it! I was having a bad day and told her that my bucket was empty. She kissed me and said she was going to keep hugging me until my bucket was full again! I would HIGHLY recommend this book for ALL ages!!

Bought this book for our adopted children. They are 10 but emotionally 7. It did turn out to be a little too simple. But still a great conversation starter about being kind to each other.
