HASH(0x9c4445b8) out of 5 stars Great Info Sept. 28 2014

budgeting is something that I am always trying to explain to my husband. I plan out how much money each paycheck has to go towards what bills.

When one of us might want something he says, go ahead we have money in the bank and I have to explain to him that, that money is already set aside for bills and just because it is there doest mean it is available

I am hoping that reading this book made him appreciate all the couponing I do to make our budget work.

The book does a great job of explaining how to put together a budget and the need to stick to it. It also shows how you must sacrafice things that you dont need if you want to have the extra money to purchase or do things you would want to

HASH(0x9c653dbc) out of 5 stars Good introduction to budgeting Oct. 7 2014
By Mike - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
Budgeting is very important in multiple respects. For starters, it’s very useful to get a clearer insight in your actual income and expenses. But it is also vital to keep your finances healthy and stay out of debt, or to better achieve long-term goals like buying a new house or a new car. And in times of economic crisis like today, it has become all the more important to have a sound personal financial plan in place.

Despite all the positive aspects of budgeting, very few people seem to do it and to be honest personally I haven’t paid much attention to it either. Somehow it seems like a boring task to do or you feel like it only costs time with very little reward. However, I’ve gradually come to realize the importance of keeping a budget and I’ve started making some expense and income lists in Excel. It may seem boring at first, but it can actually be quite fun, especially if you manage to cut your expenses and set realistic goals for bigger purchases down the road: something you can really look forward to!

This book is a good introduction for if you plan to start budgeting and getting a better insight in your finances. It shows you the most important steps you need to take to get started, including some tips to successful budgeting and how to save money and stay out of debt.

HASH(0x9c4292e8) out of 5 stars Short but interesting! Oct. 12 2014

Short but interesting read. I believe Jason could explain his chapters a bit better but I'm happy with what I read. I really like and appreciate details in the chapter about saving money on various stupid things. Some of those are extremely helpful and true also. We spend money on things we don't even need!

Great read, once more!

You'll learn how to create a financial plan, how to stay out of debt, ways to save money and many more. If you follow the advice on this book, your financial problem will surely be solved. HASH(0x9c426540) out of 5 stars Practical Self Help Book for Your Wallet & Your Bank Account Oct. 2 2014
By Uncle G - Published on Amazon.com

It's just amazing how many people simply don't know the basics of managing their money at home or at work. This concise book will help you do both. I am a big believer in self help books, but what I liked about this book in particular is that it's not some revolutionary new concept. It's common sense and easy to actually do. Thanks for writing this book, Jason Schuler. The price was very easy on my budget (lol).
