"Avi Silberstein's stunning debut is gripping, disturbing, darkly funny, and impossible to put down. The writing is taut and spare, creating a sharply etched portrait of 1980s Chile. Triumphant." Interesting action book based on historical facts. It's fascinating how you go "in crescendo" and at the end every single detail described before makes sense. Amazing "finale".
I was hesitant about reading this book, as it seemed not to be widely read. Fortunately I decided to take a chance and immediately got hooked. The author did a great job developing the characters and giving a feel of what it likes to live under a dictatorship. At the same time, there is a bit of dry humor here. If you’ve gotten this far to read this review, then you should definitely read the book!
