Product Description

All Antonio did was hurt her.
All he did was give her hell.
He took away everything good in her world.
Everything that ever mattered.

Jenny is used to putting on a brave facade, letting the outside world see her as wild and free. She is loyal and loves with her whole heart, loving others so much that she is willing to sacrifice herself in the process.

Jules was only supposed to be a diversion for Jenny. Fun times with no strings attached. She didn't intend to fall for Jules, a member of The Devil’s Crusader’s Motorcycle Club. But fall for him is exactly what she did.

Antonio has been wreaking havoc on her life since Jenny was sixteen years old. Now she is forced to marry Antonio to keep her loved ones safe, destroying the man she loves in the process and driving him away.

Riding back into town after years away, Jules discovers the woman he once loved no longer exists, and it’s up to him to see if he can bring her back.

NOTE TO READER: This book contains strong sexual scenes and violence against women. Jenny curses so if you can't stand the "f" bomb then avoid this one. This is book 3, however, each book in the series can be read as a stand alone.

I received an ARC copy for an honest review.

"I wish I had a different choice to make. Life doesn't always give you easy choices. You just have to do the best you can."

Hurt You is book 3 in the Wrecked series by the amazing Abby McCarthy. This is Jenny and Jules’ book and by far my favourite in the series. This is an intricate story told in part past and present day and in both POVs.

Right from the prologue I was sucked in. The book has fast-forwarded a few years and the fun loving and sassy hairdresser from book 1 and 2 is gone, and we are introduced to a totally different, broken and jaded Jenny. What could have happened to make her this way? To find this out, we need to go back into Jenny’s past...

"Right now, I’m choosing to close my eyes and live in the past, if only for a while. Maybe here, I can remember what it was like when he touched me."

Jenny has known true evil since she was 16-years-old and she has kept this secret from everyone. She will do anything to keep her family safe, even if it means sacrificing her happiness. With her future set, Jenny wanted to enjoy what little freedom she has left, living it to the fullest. What she didn't count on was falling in love. When Jules comes into her life, Jenny does everything she can to deny her feelings for him. But Jules is one stubborn sexy biker who won’t take no for an answer. You will love Jules.

"Let me spell it out real clear for you then. You and me were inevitable. I staked a claim to my brothers the first time I put you on the back of my bike."

Jenny is not willing to involve Jules in her messed up past and doomed future. Evil is always watching her, waiting for his time to pounce.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a great love story with the edge of danger just on the horizon. May 26 2015

Jenny has a big loving family. The only girl in a house full of boys. She is loved and cherished. Her father and older brother are taken away from her family because of the hazards of their line of work. Now she helps her family to raise her nephew Gino. She has a secret from her family though and this secret is tearing her apart. She knows she can never have a true love. She can have her fun but never give her heart to a special someone. Never have that forever kind of love. The consequences are too high to pay.
Jules is an ex-marine and a member of the Devil Crusaders MC. He is a protective man when it comes to women because of things from his childhood. He is a patient man, waiting for what he wants and very loyal. But how long can a man wait?
Jenny and Jules met by chance. Jenny came to a bar to drink away the man she just dumped and have some fun. Jules was there with his mc brothers. They were keeping an eye on the presidents daughter, Maura. Jenny and Maura hit it off on the first shot and all the shots after that one. By the end of the night they were way too drunk and on the way to being best friends.
Jenny ended up on the back of Jules' bike at closing time and so it begins. Jules is patient but he knows he wants her. She knows it can't happen. She can never be attached. She always has eyes on her. Eyes no one is aware of but her. She can never chance it .
Hurt you is an intriguing book with twist and turns through it's journey. So many hidden secrets. The attraction between Jules and Jenny is way too hot to ignore. The plot turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. The length Jenny goes to keep her secrets is heart wrenching and it's a story of a real love that has to be denied.
I truly enjoyed this book. This is a real well rounded book that encompasses so much that it can cross many genres . This is the last book in the series and I believe she saved the best for last.
Great book Abby McCarthy and great job. Thank you so much for your hard work.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love then flow oh these wonderful books have been beautiful ... May 31 2015

I was asked if this could be a stand alone book, by all means it could but why. I love then flow oh these wonderful books have been beautiful done. You need to read all don't miss I single book Abbey McCarthy has ever written. When I met this lady for the first time she it was done at Cincy we met in Gretchen room. It didn't take me long to figure out that Abby and I were going to be friends. And we talk all the time. She is great at writing books. The story can stand alone but reading them together gives you every exspective to the book. She is putting in her hear and soul like know other. After reading this book Hurt you three times I so love the story, it has warmed my heart how Jenny and Maura, become friends they come from two separate world their families live in. They don't care what each family thinks of it. But this Antonio dude needs to die. He's my reason to hate someone, Abby has done a great job with Antonio because I'm thinking of ways to get rid of him and I want him to suffer. I'm a nice person, what have you done to me Abby? Jenny has to do something her heart says no until she knows if she doesn't people will be hurt or even worse die. She carried this burden, a burden she had no right to have to carry. There are many twist and turns, laughs and tears. It by far is my favorite book Abby has written and I love them all. I've watch her grow as a writer and damn she's growing. Her talent is impeccable. I can't wait to see what she has next. Read these book or you're missing out big time. I don't know how to write without spoilers.

5.0 out of 5 stars I couldn't put it down! July 1 2015

I found this book by chance on Facebook & thought the summary looked good. I didn't know the author or the series but I'm really glad I found it. This is the first book I've read from the series & I think it's book 3. I'm going back for 1&2. I'll bet they are just as good.

Jenny's days are numbered. Her freedom is shortened every day because her enemy, Antonio, is coming for her. According to him he will force Jenny to marry him or forfeit her family. Antonio has already killed one brother and Jenny can't bear the thought that he will kill again. So Jenny has decided to live ten lives in the time she has left.
Jules sets eyes on Jenny and he knows she's the one for him. He's lived a hard life with his club and he's grabbing Jenny with both hands. He thinks everything is perfect. Then Antonio tells Jenny it's time, and she has to leave Jules with a very angry, broken heart.
This book was so good! I loved the characters and how likable they were. The storyline was a new one, which is getting kind of hard to find. I could not put this book down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing!!!!! May 25 2015

I loved it!!!

The previous book in this series, Fight You, is one of my all time favorite stories so I had high expectations for Hurt You and it didn't disappoint. It was everything I hoped for and more. It was gripping, intense, hot, sweet, beautiful and heartbreaking.

Seriously this book made my heart hurt because I was so emotionally invested in Jenny and Jules' story. Jenny my heart broke for her. She would do anything to protect those she loves even if it means losing herself. Jules, I liked him in the previous books but he really stole my heart in this one. I was surprised at how sweet this badass biker could be at times. And when they were together is was beautiful. These two have some sizzling chemistry.

Overall an amazing story, one I won't forget. Can't wait to see what Abby McCarthy writes next.

I have read all three books in this series and they were all great! Hurt you was definitely my favorite! It contained sensitive material that really put you on the edge of your seat. The ending made it all worth it for the reader as well as the characters. I hate to see the series end I feel like I really got to know the characters after three books! Great job Abby!
