With that many different writers contributing to the production, it will surely produce a mix of results, from 2 stars (an enigma of a story) to 5 stars (what a delight, could be a best seller author), While there are short-story books written by different authors but following a single theme (for example, check out Jeffery Deaver's Copper Bracelet), this one book has each author writing their own stories. The common denominator for calling this book the Crimes of Identity is that the crimes perpetrated would involve some mix up or misuse of an individual's I.D. Some stories are interesting enough that I would check out his/her other regular work, but some I would say I am completely lost and have no interest to follow up with his/her other books.

I usually like crime stories but some of the ones in this book were not to my taste. However, I did enjoy the others.
