    Je viens de me procurer le I-Pen Mouse. J'ai un macbook pro. La fonction "souris" fonctionne bien - c'est vraiment un "plug and play". Toutefois, les logiciels permettant l'écriture manuscrite ne sont pas compatible avec MAC (ceci n'est pas mentionné sur la boite ou dans le guide de l'utilisateur) ce qui est très décevant. J'ai tenté d'écrire à deux adresses différentes afin de savoir s'il avait la possibilité d'obtenir ces logiciels pour MAC OS. Tous mes courriels m'ont été retournés. Conclusion, c'est un peu coûteux pour une simple souris.

    I searched far and wide for exactly this device. My requirements were simple. I was tired of using a mouse to touch-up my scanned-in comic-strips artwork. So, I needed a simple digital pen - not a complex graphics tablet - to make modest on-screen enhancements and corrections. Amazingly, there is not much out there, so the choice was simple.
    The I-Pen suits my purpose exactly, since I am already quite good at on-screen drawing. This worked straight out-of-the-box and I use it like a regular mouse with any and all of my favorite graphics programs. What could be simpler than that? It's brilliant! No big learning curve - just getting used to the way it functions - the right button is on the pen shaft and the left-button is on the pen tip, which you click by pushing against the desktop and then releasing as necessary (just like a regular mouse button). It has a variety of other uses which I have not yet tried. Apparently it is also beneficial for people with carpal-tunnel syndrome or other wrist problems.
    Anyhow, if you can draw on-screen with a mouse and you don't really need a graphics tablet then this is a huge advantage. It works for me!

    Footnote: The installation was very quick. The I-Pen worked immediately after the first installation. However, I ran the short program a few more times because it didn't install all the extras first-time round (only the basic functions, for some reason). It was no problem re-running the installation program. There were various odd warning messages, which the instructions said to ignore, so I did and everything worked perfectly. For the record, I am running Windows/XP on a desktop and a laptop.
