I would recommend this product. It is a bit cheaper to build yourself, but if you did buy new tank lids and not used the factory, it is not a bunch of cost savings!

I noticed that the gasket used with the supplied gas cap takes a lot of effort to seal. Combined with the sharp edges on the top of the cap this makes it hard to get a grip to tighten and make a good seal. I thought about using slip joint pliers but I'm afraid I would end up breaking off the Honda fuel tank neck.
The flexible hose that is supplied has shown signs of dry rot near the clamps, both ends. I've trimmed the hose and used worm gear clamps to seal the hose. Still have problems.
For now I use the extend run tank as a storage tank.
