Chelsea Camaron and I were fighting over Riley (Stripping Her Defenses by Jessie Lane), but I have decided he is all hers and I will take Ice or Hammer. This is a hot alpha male MC club story that had me reading and turning pages as often as I possibly could. Granted the men in this book are not friendly, but who needs friendly? The men in this book are reliable, sexy, and honest.

In the last year I have read many MC books. Some are just words on a page, while some pull me in and keep me entertained until well after I am finished reading. ICE is definitely an entertaining book. I started one morning and did not put it down until I was totally done and satisfied. As every good book should do, it left me wanting more. I am craving more of Hammer, Coal and the rest of Ice’s men. I want to know how their happy endings come about.

Morgan was a heart tugger. Her parents are God awful, she has an out of control sister that she loves so much, and she is making it on her own without any support. Then the worse thing ever happens and everything is turned upside down. When Ice comes to help her out, the sparks were blinding. But Morgan was not a pushover. She held her ground with Ice and did not let him put her out or down. I envied that she is strong enough to stand up to such a strong male, not everyone can. The strength and belief she held onto when the chips were down made her unbelievable. She not only kept believing, but she made others around her keep their faith also. She is truly someone I look up to.

Of course, ICE is a book that I recommend to everyone. It is an over 18 adult book, but all the same check it out. Buy it the day it is released and be ready to spend the entire day reading because I know you won’t be able to put it down.

YES!!! The first book in a new biker series that turned out to be a whole lot more than what I thought it would be, by a powerhouse duo of writers Chelsea Camaron and Jessie Lane (one known for her emotional and strong biker books and the other an expert in military and sensual romance books).
ICE begins with a few awkward moments and chuckles (especially for anyone who has dealt with teenagers) as Ice is caught in a compromising position, by his teenage daughter Brooke. It was both funny and heart-smashing because you know that although he is a good dad and has tried his best to raise a daughter on his own, it has been rough and poor guy needs some relief once in a while...especially since he has been alone and lonely for many years with the exception of these quick hook-ups.
Brooke's mom Erin had her at a young age and as they struggled to finish school and raise a baby girl with the help of Ice's mom, life took a tragic turn of events when Ice joined the army to try to make a life for his new bride and their baby. Ice has been raising his little girl on his own and some of the scenarios he has had to deal with were both poignant and hysterical (picture big bad biker/retired military dude dealing with girlie get the picture).
Morgan is a prim and proper woman raised in a home with strict over-bearing parents who treat their daughters like property and despite keeping up the appearance of a conservative bank employee, she has an inner wild-child that has been suppressed to keep the peace with her family. Her two younger sisters rebel as most teenagers do, and it is left to Morgan to be the dutiful and obedient one. Her BFF Casey is the exact opposite to her as she works as a stripper, headlining at one of the biggest clubs in town.
Ice and his club of retired military men have business dealing with a drug lord from the Cuban mafia and although they keep two strip club businesses as their "legal" operations, they also deal with illegal and criminal activites. In the midst of all this, young women are disappearing and the club is working to try to find out who has them and how to shut down what looks to be a human trafficking group.
I can't really tell you much more details about what all happens plotwise in this book because it is just SO full and has so many things that would just spoil it for other readers...but I can say that when Morgan and Ice meet, it is fireworks (and NOT the good kind) and when Ice's teenage daughter and Morgan's teenage sister become BFF's, all sorts of mayhem breaks out.
This book made me so angry at times (bad parents and evil greasy men), but it was way different than anything I have read lately...a combination of a violent and sexy biker romance mixed up with some tough alpha-male military operatives and a heartwarming love story about people just trying to protect their innocent family members and coming together for the common good of their loved ones.
Two people from two completely different backgrounds who find they have a whole lot more in common than they would ever believe and what happens when they realize the truth and come together was exciting and emotionally fulfilling.
A wonderful and oh so sexy new series with some other characters to be expanded on in the next books. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good family drama, military or biker romance, and action packed thrillers!
Fair warning: the violence in a few scenes was really graphic and hard to read...but the romance was SO thrilling and will make you sweat...especially the first love scene...OMG =)
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

"I may be bad to the bone, baby, but sometimes bad people do good things."

This was my first book by either one of the authors, and I can say it definitely won't be my last. It was a very unique spin on the typical MC romance, and I enjoyed it for that alone. However, there was one big key element that kept it from being any higher of rating for me, but I'll get to that in a bit.

Brett 'Ice' Grady spends his night as a member of a brutal MC and his days being a single father to his teenage daughter after losing his wife in an accident years ago. He's not looking to put his heart through the ringer like that again so he's perfectly contempt to get his rocks off with any woman that meets his fancy that particular night. His main focus is his club and their determination to bring down the people responsible for the kidnapping and trafficking women from their town.

Ice is not man to mince words and he's certainly not concerned about sparing the feelings of some uptight woman that can't even seem to keep a tight reign on her rebellious sister that's best friends with his daughter.

Morgan Powell's only focus is to be the perfect daughter, the perfect worker, and the perfect everything. Raised by cold parents that only care about their image, Morgan was the golden child. But while she may have a great career as an investment broker, her lovelife leaves something to be desired.

Ice and Morgan don't meet under the best of circumstances when Ice brings the girls back from a party that they weren't supposed to be at and clearly intoxicated. To say that they butt heads would be an understatement.

Ice was the perfect a-hole hero that I usually love the hell out of. However, here, it missed the mark for me a little bit. But not because of anything he does or says...It was the lack of relationship development.

Here's the thing; the suspense and action part of the story were highly intriguing and engrossing. It was gritty and at times downright bloody and dark. I loved it! The world of the Regulator MC is brutal and the authors spare no punches in bringing the reader into the very darkest pits of the depravity that they deal with. But not everything is as it seems and the twist that was worked into the story was one I definitely did NOT see coming and absolutely loved.

Unfortunately I found the romance aspect of the book to be highly lacking. It jumps around quite a bit; one week later, one month later, 3 months later but with no clear relationship development with the MCs. I really needed that to truly get invested in their relationship. As it was, Morgan and Ice go from hating each other, to lust, to love? But none of that is conveyed through the story aside from the time jumps. It really kept me from really believing the connection between the two characters. Truthfully, as much as I loved Ice, I never connected to Ice with Morgan. There were some great moments that were thrown in.. But I really needed more from that.

Then there was the fact that one of the MC members (luckily a secondary character) was nicknamed Screech, and all I could see every time I read that was Screech from Saved by The Bell (did I just age myself? LOL) Yes, he had a very small roll, but it's tough to get into the bada$$ vibe with a mental visual like that.

Aside from that, I found this to be a good start to what looks to be a very promising series...ESPECIALLY with the set up for the next two books. I will definitely be reading the next books just to find out what happens. Not every series has a perfect start so I'm hoping the romance will be a little better in the next books. But to be perfectly honest, I'd read it for the suspense and story alone, I liked it that much. But the romance would definitely be a great bonus.

Been anticipating Ice’s book since we met him in Stripping Her Defenses by Jessie Lane. In that book we just got to see the gruff Alpha male side of Ice and knew he had a mysterious background. In this book we find all about out about Brett 'Ice' Grady. To outsiders the Regulators are a MC Club that runs a couple of strip clubs. But the reality is they are a government sanctioned uncover group of ex military men. A group of men who formed a strong bond fighting terrorist now are a band of brothers fighting the bad guys on US soil. A story arc of women being kidnapped to be sold was started in Jessie Lane and Chelsea Camaron other series. Ice and his team have been trying to find a way to bring down the man responsible when the latest kidnapping victim brings things to close to home.

I’ve said it in my previous reviews of Jessie and Chelsea’s books that are related but I love that multiple series are crossing over with story lines and characters. It just makes the reading experience that much more enjoyable. I love the world these authors have built and how some of the characters are on the right side of the law and others not but in the end they are all fighting for the same thing.

Ice (Regulators MC #1) by Chelsea Camaron & Jessie Lane

☆☆☆☆☆ 5 Brilliant Hooked Stars

ICE ohhhh so sexy!

Morgan has been trained by her parents her whole life appearance is everything. She has to set a good example for her younger sisters. Get good grades, be respectful, a respectful career & professional. What her parents fail to give her is love and her sisters suffered great due to the lack of attention, compassion, & love. All her parents care about what everyone else perceives instead of how their children feel, want, or need.

ICE the president of the Regulators MC in Miami. After, losing the love of his life young he was left being a single dad. Sure he had his mother but in time he had to step up and be a full time dad. Teaching his daughter how to be a woman or her womanly stuff is not the life he had wished but Brooke is his life and if he can't have Erin, Brooke is the next best thing. He has passed his time with raising his daughter, work, the club, & barflies and he's happy with that life, it's working out great, he gets what he needs with no strings.

Morgan & Ice's lives could not be more opposite and world's apart but an unexpected circumstance has left Morgan needing help. The only person that can possibly help her is the man who's aura lives up to his name, Ice.

When Ice meets Morgan his icy personality gets reactions from Morgan she never knew she could have. She has never talked to anyone they she does Ice but she has never been treated so rude before either, not even from her parents. Ice's frozen heart starts feeling something he never thought he could feel again. This fisty, innocent, beautiful girl has his head and his body going crazy.

Ice is overbearing, egotistical, sexy, & possessive all the things that drive Morgan crazy and makes her feel things she never knew existed. They argue at ever encounter but love it just as much as they are frustrated. Can sweet innocent Morgan handle a guy like Ice? Can Ice help Morgan and will Morgan accept his offered help and his commanding nature? The answer to bother those questions....HELL YES & IDK because he is an a$$!!!

I loved this book so much. Loved the characters, loved the storey, loved Miss. Prim & Proper fisty handling Ice like a pro, although she is farther from that. I literally hated to put it down, to drink, eat, bathroom breaks...Those thing are inconsequential when you have Ice at your finger tips?

I read 'My Favorite Mistake' by Chelsea almost two years ago and loved it too. Jessie this is the first of your work but look forward to more.

Chelsea & Jessie I want more!!!!! I am dying for time to fly by to get my hands on the next Regulators story. Coal? Hammer? Me? (Just thought I would throw that out there. Just an offer, very willing offer! :) )

In case you didn't catch it in the earlier text....Do I recommend??? Hell YES!!!! Brilliant work ladies!

***I see Hammer #2 & Coal #3, Beth #4???? Or am I with Coal &/or Hammer???

HASH(0xa23cf3cc) out of 5 stars Welcome To The Delicious ICE!! Dec 7 2014
By Randy Newman - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I was lucky to have gotten the chance to read ICE early, as Chelsea gave me a copy! I have read all of Chelsea's books, now add Jessie Lane to the mix, and you have one amazing, HOT, sexy, well-written book!
ICE opens with an awkward scene, which sets the stage for our main character, Brett "ICE", to develop. Ice has a teenage daughter, Brooke, whom he is raising, and immediately, from this first scene, we KNOW that she is his FIRST priority, and he will, always, lay down his life for his daughter. Right then and there, in those first few lines, I KNEW that I was going to LOVE this man!

Ice and Brooke's mom, Erin, had Brooke at a very young age, and due to circumstances, and tragedies, Ice was left alone, without Erin, and forced to raise Brooke, along with his mother. He was forced to have to learn how to deal with the issues of girls and raising a daughter, and has been put in some very uncomfortable positions, but as I stated earlier, his daughter always comes first.

Ice runs, and is a member of an elite group of retired military men, who are a motorcycle club, and carry on business activities to run down, and destroy illegal and criminal activities of men around the country, who deal in drugs and kidnapping women and prostitution. He maintains two strip clubs, as well, for their "legal operations."

Enter Morgan Powell...she is proper and a bit bored with her life, until her sister becomes friends with Brooke, and Morgan has no choice but to meet Ice. Without posting too much, let's just say that when Morgan and Ice's paths are destined to meet, the chemistry that ensues is hot and sexy, and no matter what either one of them does to try and avoid it, it's fate and destiny.

I've said before that Ice will do anything for Brooke, well, once Morgan enters his life, this code also extends to her. Once she decides to let go, there is nothing Ice won't do for her and her sister, and he proves that tenfold.

SO much happens in this book, that you will find yourself NOT wanting to put it down. The love of a father for his daughter, the love a man finds for a woman, after thinking that he will never find love again, and the love a woman finally finds, after she thinks she never will, is prevalent throughout this book. I will admit that there are some parts of this book that are difficult to read, but if you have faith, and push through those parts, getting to the sweet ending with this delicious man known as Ice, is so, so worth it!

Chelsea and Jessie have such a success here, and I just can't wait for more!! <3
