About the Author

SANDRA KASTURI is a writer, editor, book reviewer and the copublisher of ChiZine Publications. She has written three poetry chapbooks and has edited the poetry anthology, THE STARS AS SEEN FROM THIS PARTICULAR ANGLE OF NIGHT. She is the author of two poetry collections, THE ANIMAL BRIDEGROOM (2007), and COME LATE TO THE LOVE OF BIRDS (2013), both from Tightrope Books. Her fiction and poetry has appeared in various magazines and anthologies.

SAMANTHA BEIKO has worked in the Canadian publishing industry for the past three years in various capacities, first in marketing and publicity, and now in editorial and layout design. Samantha is currently the Managing Editor at ChiZine Publications, and has had the opportunity to acquire and edit some remarkable books, including work by Daniel A. Rabuzzi, James Marshall, and Teresa Milbrodt. Samantha is also an emerging author, and her first book, a YA fantasy novel called THE LAKE AND THE LIBRARY, will be out in Spring 2013 with ECW Press. She currently resides in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
