I liked it better than Infamous 1 and 2. Those were good, but a bit too grim. This one was nice and colourful, and had more humour as well. I liked the main character more than Cole, and also liked having a wider range of powers than the previous games. Don't want to spoil to much about it. It was also nice not having weird looking enemies like the previous games. The main villain was also more detestable than the previous two. This game improved on the past two in pretty much every way, and also looks graphically spectacular. Must own in my opinion.

I bought this game and have not been able to stop playing since. This game is amazing. Following the events of the previous games we are introduced to a new character, Delsin Rowe, who is a young native (Akomish) sarcastic punk. Sucker Punch found that most players at the end of Infamous 2 had chosen to sacrifice Cole for the greater good so they introduced a new character.

The graphics of the game are top notch, this is really the first game on the PS4 that made buying the PS4 worth it.

The story is pretty simple, which just adds to the elegance of the story. In the previous games the story became a little convoluted and confusing at times. This time around Delsin goes to Seattle with his cop brother Reggie in order to seek out Brooke Augustine who early on had used her concrete powers to assault the Akomish people. Delsin needs to absorb Augustine's power in order to reverse the damage she had caused.

Along the way Delsin finds two more conduits living in Seattle, Fetch (neon powers) and Eugene (video powers), with their help (and powers) Delsin eventually is able to confront Augustine to battle it out.

Depending on your karma (good or evil) you get one of two endings and either save Seattle and the Akomish people and allow Augustine to live with the shame of defeat. Or you can kill her and take over Seattle and destroy the Akomish people. I chose the way of good the first time around.

Second Son deserves a few play throughs to enjoy being good and evil. Although there is no way to be good and evil equally. The game is open world so there are a number of side missions in each district of Seattle (audio logs, secret agents, tagging etc...) that add to the experience.

Not a bad game. A bit short but sweet although way too difficult at some points even on easy. Delsin just seems to die verg easily even though he's a super hero in a way.
Characters are likeable and the two brothers had awesome chemistry although thr secondary characters are kind of bland

Great game - improves on the previous inFAMOUS games in every way. Graphics are phenomenal and showcase the ps4's capabilities, combat is fun, fast paced, and makes you feel powerful. Side missions are good and make open-world gameplay much more fun than the previous games. Story is a bit short, but if you do all the extra things it has good length and great replay value.

Having played infamous 1 and 2 I was kinda disappointed when I found out Second Son would not have the same comic book style narrative or be a continuation to the previous titles. However that did not affect my enjoyment of the game, as the story was quite solid and well written. I really enjoyed the banter between the characters, which brought humour in and lightened up the story. The game play is once again solid, new introduction of special powers makes traversing the map far easier and fight sequences more enjoyable than ever to play. The characters are all well voiced and each have plenty of backstory for you to genuinely care about them. And of course this being the first infamous title on next gen I was definetely expecting an upgrade, which it definetely provided. There was virtually no technical issues with the game other than a frame rate drop or two in my 20 hour walkthrough of the story, and it was one of the most graphically impressive titles so far on the ps4. At $20 you can't go wrong and if you haven't played any other infamous title, do yourself a favor and pick this up, you won't regret it.

Loving this game so far, let me point out the story first, i played all other infamous games on evil, but this one after following the story was a bit harder and i decided to play it good. From the start you need to make a choice to betray a women that took care and looked out for you from then on i knew i was not going to play evil in this game.

A lot more attaching story and characters then the last infamous games where you just did not really care to play good or evil.

The graphics are amazing and i love the upgrade system, i am not far in the game still learning the curve, playing on easy since i am a casual gamer, upgrading, i just beat my first outpost. I cannot wait to be fully upgraded and i will finish this game.

All in all its pretty good so far, need to run in battle a lot because you are not invincible. That i learned the hard way.
