BOOK DESCRIPTION: Inhuman is Book 5 in the bestselling, award-winning, science fiction smash hit phenomenon, Post-Human series. This 400-plus pages, 109k word epic science fiction adventure story (twice as long as any other individual book in the series for the same low $2.99 price-point) readers will get to rejoin all of the characters they fell in love with along the way in the previous 4 books. Inhuman not only ties the first four books together, it also broadens the mystery, introduces a new villain, one that has been lurking in the background throughout, and that will trump any villain in the history of suspense literature, film, or science fiction. V-SINN is its name, and, and in this epic thriller, it may just be too much for the post-humans to handle. Inhuman is to the Post-Human science fiction series as The Empire Strikes Back was to Star Wars--the middle act when revelations emerge, old sins come back to haunt, and the mysterious journey of the heroes that readers have fallen in love with deepens, darkens, and entertains to a whole new level. Post-Human fans, science fiction fans, and fans of thriller, action, suspense and adventure fiction will be not be disappointed with this epic middle act! Enjoy!

Not a bad piece of literature
I had some difficulty with this one for some reason?????
I seemed unable to get into it - some personal temporary angst/dissonance undoubtedly
So I am almost uncomfortable with the lack of a 4th star
Got through the first 4 with ease and pleasure

Having devoured the first four books in the series, I was excited to purchase Simpson's latest release in the Post-Human series.

At first, I wasn't sure how he could continue the series based on the way the third book wrapped up (not to spoil the fourth book - it does fit, but in a different way). However, he does it in such a clever way that I immediately wanted to go back and read the first three books again.

He also opened up the universe completely, allowing his readership to anticipate future titles in the series, which is exciting. My only hope is he doesn't drag it out, but based on the brilliant moves he made here, that won't happen for several books.

What an incredible book! The book Inhuman, seem to answer so many questions from the first four books. The entire series was incredible, but book 5 brought it all together. So many twists and turns involved! What ever you were thinking was it, the story would change to create another scenario. I have not got more enjoyment in a book in a very long time. Masterpieces like this seem to be too few and far between! Makes me hunger for more! Can't wait for the next adventure? Thanks David so much!

I felt like this book finally wrapped up a lot of the loose ends from the first book in the series, Sub-Human. There are technologies used in that book that never re-appear in the rest of the series until now. Previously, I have said that Sub-Human was the weakest link in the series, but now it actually fills a necessary role in the development of the plot and it's easier to see the purpose for Craig's original adventures. The story is compelling and the action is delivered brilliantly. The plot is relatively unpredictable, but provides enough leads that you can begin to speculate about what will happen next. I felt that Inhuman was another great addition to the series. You definitely have to read these in order.

Intense reading, make sure you have time blocked out. You will not want to use a bookmark on this one! An outstanding follow-up to the first four of the series. I love the characterization and the details of the story line. It grabs you and holds your interest, so that it is hard to not keep reading, when you should be resting. Thank you again for the great book and I look forward to Number Six!

Great story! One that you have to read. The Post-Human series has to rank up there with Asimov. So much excitement through out book, that I had a hard time putting it down. To other readers I suggest starting with book 4 as a prequel, then books 1, 2 3, and 5 in that order. Mr. Simpson has done a wonderful job and look forward of more from him. Even possibly more in this series.

Having really enjoyed the previous books I wanted to read more in the series. This book did not disappoint. The characters throughout the series have really grown on me and continue to surprise me. I felt swept up in the story and could not put it down. The story feels bigger than the previous books and I am excited to see how it all wraps up.

I would recommend this for those who enjoyed such non-fiction works as The Age of Spiritual Machines; a nice transition piece in fiction I enjoyed.
