What many self-improvement books lack is the concreteness and generality of approaches such that they can be systematically applied in general situations for general readers. Happiness is very subjective and hard to define. Because of this, it is very hard to achieve happiness -- how can we achieve something that we cannot even define? Happiness also means differently to different people, so it is very hard to provide a single set of formula that will work for everyone. This book nails it in this aspect by analyzing the ingredients of happiness in a systematic and analytical manner which allows each reader to apply the tools according to their own value and measure. Unlike many personal development books, this book defines happiness in a general and concrete measure which makes the concept of happiness less fuzzy and hence allows the readers to achieve it in a more systematic, organized way.
