This book really explains why my introverted husband and extroverted me fight so much, we are both reading it and we are understanding each other better. Less arguments and when we do have one, they don't last very long or get out of control!. Recomemded!

HASH(0xa2ccd864) out of 5 stars It's already helping my marriage immensely!! :) Nov. 11 2008

Format: Paperback
I am only about 100 pages in with this book, and it has already changed the way I think about myself (100% Outie), AND about my husband (about an 85% Innie). I was starting to go down that dangerous path of 'Why can't he be a bit more like me at times?', and was not appreciating him for the differences that make "US" work. I now see that it's the way we think about our differences that counts.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is at that 'hmmmmmm....' stage in their introvert/extrovert relationship.

HASH(0xa2ccd8b8) out of 5 stars Introverts Dream Information Oct. 14 2010

There is so little information out there on Introverts. This book sheds light on the love relationship between introverts and extroverts. I am an introvert and have felt misunderstood all 52 years of my life. Not only should introverts read this but extroverts should too!

HASH(0xa2ccdb94) out of 5 stars Excellent followup to the first book, The Introvert Advantage. March 3 2008
By Book Lover - Published on
Format: Paperback
This book is a great complement to the first book as it goes into the different types of relationships between introverts and extroverts. It includes the information that was in the first book but has the added dimension of exploring relationships.

I found it very insightful and helpful! Introverts and extroverts can have a good relationship if they understand the dynamics as explained in this book. Instead of resenting or feeling uncomfortable with a partner that is of the opposite type, understanding and appreciating differences can work in a great way!

HASH(0xa2ba10cc) out of 5 stars Not what I expected July 26 2013

This book touches on some of the basics of introvert/extrovert relationships, but if you're looking for something with more depth and greater detail, I'd suggest Susan Cain's "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking". "The Introvert & Extrovert in Love" didn't really do it for me.

My fiance is the introvert, I am the extrovert. I bought this book because we are struggling with our differences. There are so many places throughout the book that I can relate to. If you are in this type of a relationship...I totally recommend this book! A very interesting read.
