This installment in the series opens where Shipwrecked ended. Four of the children are washed ashore and assume the other two are lost at sea. One disappears into the jungle. With no memory of the previous week, he hides from his shipmates, fearing they are enemies. Holter Graham continues to keep listeners on the edges of their seats. He communicates the fear, growing respect, and trust of the characters as they work for their own and each others survival. As they evade smugglers on the island, listeners will root for these resourceful kids but will have to wait for Book Three learn if, when, and how rescue happens.
