Although I already possess a portable Bluetooth speaker, after hearing the crisp and deep sound from my son’s speaker, I decided to purchase this speaker. Excellent bass from the innovative diaphragms at each end and high notes come out with clarity. Good battery life and good charging indicator. The Flip5 can easily slip into a satchel, purse or even some coat pockets. For those who eschew the black camo, there is a plethora of colour choices.
It feels solid and yet is light and compact. JBL and Harmon have been leaders in audio for decades and certainly prevented any trust issues. It arrived in a protective styrofoam case. The price is quite reasonable for technology of this kind. An unexpected feature is that two of these units can be synced/linked to boost sound in larger areas or gatherings; my son has already suggested trying that at our next family get-together.
