I first heard Mr. Officer's song "Donny" on CBC's Espace Musique and went directly to purchase the CD. After listening to it through, and some songs - "Beaumont" is just otherworldy (Check it out, and others, at youtube)- over several times, I proceeded to buy tickets to his next concert in my region.
Jordan Officer is a great songwriter and a unqiuely talented guitarist. Wonderful bass and snappy drums chase Officer along on his syncopated riffs. It all feels very unplanned - done for the very first time. Enjoy.
