The book is written in a logical, step by step sequence, is easy to read, and makes sense. Case examples help illustrate the various points as the author takes the reader through the court sequence. Many additional suggestions are provided to help persons who need advice from time to time, but who cannot afford to hire full time legal council. The author is very encouraging and obviously knowledgeable and experienced in matters of law. A helpful resource for anyone considering self representation in the B.C. Courts.

THis is written by a lawyer who thinksself-represented litigants fail in court because they have not followed proper procedures and paper work. In reality they fail because judges are totally prejudiced against SRLs and will, in most cases, not even listen to what they are saying. THe judges are lawyers and will not accept that a non-lawyer has better argumentation than one like themselves.

I was very impressed with how her book was laid out. I went out and bought two copies one for my granddaughter the other for my library. I thought someone else in the family will surely need this information. Well done indeed.

It's a bit too basic...most folks will find it helpful.
It's mainly an overview of a broken system...
Good book for anyone trying to represent themselves. A more insightful book to follow would be even better or part 2
