*This book was written for anyone who has ever lost a loved one. Rebecca, a small town Canadian girl, meets Tedd, an American city guy in Bible School. They soon discover that they want to be married after school and settle in a small apartment in Southfield Michigan as Tedd interns to be a pastor and Rebecca a faithful helper to her husband.
*Within six months of their marriage, it is discovered that Tedd has Stage 3 Hodgkins disease, a form of cancer.
*In spite of the disease Tedd receives several treatments and becomes well enough to apply for an associate pastor's job in rural Virginia. They build up the youth group from about 5 or 6 to 30 in a few months. But then the raging cancer returns. In less than one year, Tedd passes away in the loving company of his senior pastor and others from the small church.
*Through all of the struggles, they share an uncompromising devotion to God and each other.
*The author takes you through the "God-incidences" which occurred and shows Rebecca's grieving process as she coped with the loss of Tedd, her husband, her lover, her calling as his helper. How do you start again when you are a 26-year old widow?
*"It is an inspiring story that will breathe hope into your soul! Rebecca's story is one of God's love and redemptive nature, new hope and a new life!"
