Product Description

Since Marissa Taylor’s narrow escape from her would be killer, she’s been on the run. He continues to hunt her, leaving behind a trail of misery. Even the FBI can’t catch him.

When Kalil Masters, an agent in a CIA Special Operatives Unit is sent to “capture or kill” the predator, he's prepared to use any means necessary, even if it's using Marissa as bait. Playing on Marissa’s trust is the hardest thing Kalil has ever had to do, but the ends justify the means, don’t they?

Due to language, sexual content and sexual violence, this book is intended for age 18+.

HASH(0xa3e4b138) out of 5 stars A Good Read! Oct. 29 2014
By Amazeballs Book Addicts - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
Kalil was a good read. I had a little trouble getting into the story. You know when you turn a TV show on ten or so minutes lat, you feel lost for a little bit up then you can usually catch up to speed. Well that's kind of how I felt in the beginning of this book. The background of the characters slowly comes out and then everything fells into please and made sense.

Kalil is a strong alpha male. Kalil is an agent in the CIA Special Operatives Unit. He and his team have a job to watch Marissa Taylor. Marissa goes by the name Shalo, she has been running from a serial killer, West, that she once escaped from. Shalo has two great friends, Shonda and Rici, that have been with her every step of the way. I loved that all three of them are strong independent women.

Kalil is attracted to Shalo and they start a relationship. He is not up front with her and doesn't tell her that he and his team are watching her and looking out for West. Every time West has gotten close to her again she has moved, this time she doesn't know he is close. I cringed every time there was a West part to read. West is really crazy and some of things his does are hard to read.

There are somethings that are tough to read. Kalil is not a light and fluffy read but it's a good read.

HASH(0xa3e4b18c) out of 5 stars A Great Story! Nov. 23 2014
By mary - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
I really liked this book. It's dark and there are some parts that are not so easy to read, but dark is my favourite so I'm not complaining!
The story started out slow, but once you get to know of every character it becomes easier!
Kalil is a special agent and his job is to protect Marissa, aka Shalo, from a killer, the same one that is leaving corpse after him. They believe he is looking for Shalo and the way to catch him is by staying near Shalo. What he didn't know is that it would be hard to stay away from her.
Shalo has 2 best friends, Rici and Shonda; they are always together and they helped Shalo when she needed. Whenever that crazy psycho is near, they up and leave to start all over again.
This time is different, because Shalo has find a reason to stay and she doesn't want to leave..Kalil.
It's a really great story, lots of layers and different characters and some crazy happens..I can't wait to read book 2 and find out more!

HASH(0xa3e4b5c4) out of 5 stars Amazing book of over coming your past and facing it head on. Nov. 14 2014
By Tina Harris - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
4.5 stars

This story was a thrilling suspenseful and romantic read. It will show you how far you would go to keep the ones you love safe.

The author touches a couple of taboo issues but I believe this only added to the buildup of the character of the Killer. It gave you some insight into his mind and why he might have been the way he was. The details were not overly descriptive but spot on to make it flow perfectly.

We get to meet a close group of friends who will do anything for each other, even pick up in the middle of the night and head to a new town that they have never heard of. Why you ask, to keep one of their friends safe. You see she has a killer after her. Marissa Taylor escaped him once but since then she has been on the run for the past 9 years. When women’s bodies start to show up in or near the town that she is living in, she runs again.

But sooner or later the Killer will find you. What he doesn’t realize is that not only does Marissa have her best friends with her but also Kalil Masters.

Kalil is CIA Special Operatives Unit. He takes his job seriously. But this mission may become his hardest yet. He has never been in love, sure he has had his fair share of women but no one has made him want more until he lands his eyes on his mission, Marissa.

Will Kalil be able to protect Marissa from the Killer. Can they catch the Killer before he kills anymore women? Are Kalil and Marissa able to fight the attraction that they feel for each other and is it more than just physical attraction?

I am looking forward to reading more books from this author. She has a fan after reading this book.

HASH(0xa3e4b984) out of 5 stars Kiss the Girls but with an erotic twist. Dec 7 2014
By Flenardo - Published on
Format: Paperback
S. Reynolds created a story that had me nose deep into it and when I decided to take a break. I thought I was somewhere else. I was flipping channels on the TV to see what movie I was watching. Then it dawn on me that I was inside of her book. I felt like I was experiencing Criminal Minds, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, with some gratifying foreplay. Just reading the synopsis about a CIA agent trying to protect a woman who is on the run from a killer was the perfect arousal for my mental stimulation. When she brought in the West character; I was like this dude is beyond psychotic. His whole childhood was so sick and twisted that he is the reason you should do background checks on the men you date. I already knew the plot was set but once I had a chance to taste Shalo and Kalil together. I could feel the consequences of falling in love with a woman you was assign to protect. This book is loaded with a juicy and suspenseful tale. I enjoyed every page. Reminded me of a James Patterson book title Kiss the Girls but with an erotic twist. Love It!!!!

HASH(0xa3e4ba68) out of 5 stars Gritty, shocking and emotional mix of romance and evil serial killer story. Nov. 8 2014
By Charles R. - Published on
Format: Kindle Edition
This isn't your grandmother's zippy read! It's in many ways a romance overlaid on a serial killer thriller. It's a wickedly gritty tale, and it drags you into the very perverted mind of a seriously twisted and evil man! It does take a bit of reading to get all the characters figured out, but once you've got a grip on it, it never slows down! The language is realistic and raw at times, but appropriate for the characters and the sex scenes are graphic and personal,(Which is why this is partly classed as erotica). Pull up your big kid panties and get into this, if you want to read something different than the usual fluffy pap that gets published. It's a pretty exciting first book, and I'll be waiting to see where her next book goes!
