Product Description

When Death gets off the Greyhound bus in small town Shuckton, Ontario, everyone in town is implicated when one of its most distinguished citizens is found murdered. As a suspect is arrested and the trial plays out, the entire town is affected and its dark secrets are unraveled and exposed. Famous around the world for their sketch comedy, Death Comes to Town features the original five Kids in the Hall: Dave Foley, Bruce McCulloch, Kevin McDonald, Mark McKinney, and Scott Thomson, in an all-new narrative format. The Kids still play all the characters - men and woman - all distinctively quirky, gender-bending, boundary-pushing and definitively Kids in the Hall.

If you like the original Kids in the Hall, then you'll love this. It includes all of insane behavior you've come to expect. It has mostly new characters with a few old ones, but all of them are excellent. If you're new to The Kids, and you like surreal comedy, then give it a shot. You'll be laughing before you know it!

The Kids do not disappoint. This mini series is a completely different format than their old sketch show, but no less funny. Many endearing characters show up (Yay, Chicken Lady & Bellini!) and the lads show that they can sustain longer character arcs than before. McKinney is a particular standout although all the Kids brought their A-game. I haven't laughed like this in a long time. I wish the SCTV folk (minus the late great John Candy of course) would follow suit.

The Kids are just the best. So damn funny. This is a fun little series, at times I did not even realize that a certain character was being played by one of the Kids. If you have enjoyed the Kids in the past, then there is no reason not to purchase this set. This is not yet available here in the states, so was happy to find it on amazon.ca. We have watched the series twice now already. Each time finding a joke that we had missed the first time around. Enjoy!
