Product Description

Rocking the soundtrack to a tween TV series requires the services of a superhero, no two ways about it; luckily, the unassuming Kim Possible's on hand and rescue-ready here. Christy Carlson Romano, voice of the show's title character, pitches a track, "Say the Word," into this power-pop parade, as do bubblegum biggies Aaron Carter, Smash Mouth, LMNT, and Jump 5. Christina Milian's Radio Disney hit, "Call Me, Beep Me! (The Kim Possible Song)" sandwiches 11 tracks as opener and closer--the finale's a work-you-up remix--and though those who aren't show aficionados won't get it, even Ron Stoppable's "Naked Mole Rat" reaches out with a vibe to turn 8- to 12-year-old toes temporarily twinkly. A record that'll raise the bedroom roof and repel evildoers all at once. --Tammy LaGorce

5. Celebration-Jump5 is 1 of my fave groups of alltime! I LOVE this remake of an oldies song. Another remake they did was EarthWind&Fire's "Shining Star" on The Lizzie Mcguire Movie sondtrack. (10/10) (3:17)
6.Say The Word-This is 1 of my faves on this CD. I'd heard it on the Disney Channel and I thought "I gotta have that song." I wish that there were more songs by CCR on 8it though cuz she is a really good singer! (10/10) (2:50)

INTRODUCTION
The Kim Possible series focuses on the life of Kim Possible, a young girl who fights crime as a secret agent. She is aided in this endeavor by her sidekick, Ron Stoppable, and the resident genius, Wade. Kim Possible is able to foil the plans of numerous villains and still do her homework and participate in cheerleading. The hit series, which airs weekly on both ABC Kids and The Disney Channel, now has a soundtrack that includes numerous songs from the show.
SONG SELECTION
In general, the soundtrack includes mainly pop songs. They are performed by a variety of artists ranging from Aaron Carter to Smash Mouth. They include two versions of Kim Possible theme song, "Call Me, Beep Me!", as well as eleven other songs. Each song is able to focus on a different aspect of the series and work well to give the show a cohesive feel. Furthermore, with the exception of the first and last tracks, all the songs are unique. In fact, even the two versions of the theme song are different. While both versions are sung by Christina Milian, the second version is a remix by Tony Phillips. This remix adds sound effects and sound bites from the show in order to give the song an entirely new feel.
SONG QUALITY
The song quality of the Kim Possible Soundtrack is very good. Most of the songs were very catchy and appealing. Even a few of the songs I wasn't so fond of grew on me with repeated listening. Even so, there were a few songs that I was not entirely thrilled with. "This Year", which was performed by the A*TEENS, was a bit too high pitched for my taste. Despite the fact that the entire group range in age from only 19-20 years old, they sound as though they are only 12 or 13.

Ok honestly,, I didn't buy this CD for Aaron Carter (im sure other fans didnt either) I bought this CD for three songs, "Call Me,Beep Me" , "Naked Mole Rap" and especially Christy Romano's "Say The Word". Which all are, (and "I'm Ready") in my opinion, the best songs on the CD.
Personally, as an 'KP' fan (and music listener), the only reason to buy this CD is to have fun with it. The other songs i did not mention are alright too but not the best. but if your a Christy Romano fan then this CD is still worth it just for her! and If your a KP fan and don't already have burnt copies then buy this CD! =)

I have a 5-year-old daughter who is in love with KP. For me, KP sure beats a "Disney Princess" as a role model. Despite the fact that my kid was raised on decidedly "non-Pop" tunes, she loves this CD and plays it whenever she can. The songs are mostly about friendship and helping, so that's good. There are a few about boys and love, which is OK I guess, but I'm sure she could care less about them at this age. Anyway, the songs are somewhat infectious and you may be hearing them in your head while you are at work, despite yourself.

I would have given this CD 5 stars if all 13 songs had to do with Kim Possible. What do Celebration, Summertime Guys, and Work it Out have to do with KP? The only worthwhile songs here are Say the Word (huge Christy Carlson Romano fan. She deserves her own album more than Hilary Duff because CCR can actually sing), The Naked Mole Rap, and both Call Me, Beep Me songs. It's Just You, E is for Everybody, Come On, Come On, and I'm Ready are tolerable. ....
MORE CHRISTY CARLSON ROMANO. SHE HAS THE TALENT. SHE HAS EVERYTHING. WE WANT MORE CHRISTY!!!!
