It should be noted that the convection feature cannot be turned off when in baking mode. This isn't a complaint as the convection feature improves the cooking process. I have noticed, however, that recipes require about the same amount of time for cooking. Since there is no auto-conversion mode (as found on many larger convection ranges), I thought I would have to experiment more. It simply hasn't been an issue. The convection fan kicks in automatically and is quiet. Do note that this unit can get hot, so exercise some caution when working around it. We have a coffee maker next to ours and there isn't a danger of melting it, but I wouldn't want to accidentally bump my hand into the side of the oven while it was on.
Build-quality is first-rate and the provided baking pans are solid with an enamel coating. The oven is certainly larger than our old toaster oven, but about average for similar style ovens. The timer is a simple twist knob and there is no digital read-out, but this helps keep the cost down and is adequate for most uses. You can always use your own timer, but this one works fine. The crumb tray pulls out from the front and is very easy to use. There are 7 different rack positions, so precise placement of pans and dishes is easy.Read more ›
The oven worked OK for a year and a half and now is sporadic (doesn't turn on in bake mode). We called the company, and their suggestion was to buy a new one. I am disappointed with the poor service we received when we called in.
See below for my old review:
I did a lot of research before buying, as I had a bad experience with a black and decker i had picked up to replace my old one, which was also a black and decker which lasted 3 years. Not too bad, but they used to last forever.
This one is in a different league; we use mainly for toast but do lots of other things in there. The first time we used it for chicken breast we were impressed with how perfectly it was cooked.
Doesn't seem to be much else that would be better at this price, but I bought it for $99 and noticed that the price has since jumped. So if you are not in a rush, wait for the right time to buy....
Quick supper dishes are no problem for this little convection oven. Browning, broiling, warming or cooking all a charm. Watch your fingers when removing the tray. To allow for the recommended clearance for safety, it sits across a corner of my kitchen counter and has a relatively small foot print. Looks great too. Great Value for the money, and the dials instead of the LCD readouts are no problem.

I purchased this oven as a Christmas gift to my sister and she loves it. She rarely uses her regular big oven. This one does everything she wants and needs. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Nouhade N.

Tested temperature output with Thermoworks probe. Maximum temp was 360F when set to 450F. Takes over 90 minutes to bake a few potatoes.
Would not recommend. Was baking all day this past weekend and now the oven is not working at all! Got it just a year ago! My old one was much longer lasting (8-9 years).Published 3 months ago by Amazon Customer
