I really didn't expect to get as much from this product as I have. It seems to be balancing out many of my systems. I have more energy, my blood sugar even seems to be more balanced as a result of taking this daily. I started out with 1/2 tsp because I am very sensitive to things and it affected my digestion a little at first. After a few days I was able to tolerate 1 tsp. Now I'm taking 1 tsp twice a day. I'm considering going p to 3x a day. I highly recommend this. I will say though that what you put it with affects the taste. I love it mixed with chocolate in milk. I about 4oz milk with the 1tsp maca and just enough ovaltine to make it taste good but not too sweet due to high blood sugar. When I put it in fruit juice it was nasty. However it compliments chocolate very well. Hope this helps and that you get as much benefit from it as I have.

Been taking it everyday for about a week now mixed with some matcha either in a tea or in a smoothie. Gives a lot of energy I would try it first by itself (without the matcha- green tea leaves ground to a powder) and see how it works for you. I have ADD and this mixture gives me a lot of focus and energy almost like as if I had taken an adderall. I can only imagine how it would be for someone who does not have ADD.

In Peru people cook this root because like in my country, the Caribbean, if it comes from the ground we cook it. Do your research as I did , many doctors recommend, to use it as is. I use it in my protein shakes in the morning and sometimes in coffee. No stomach pains or blotting. This particular product tastes great and the price its right. I can not say if its working with my hot flashes because I just started taking it and I still have the effect of the liquid Maca I was taking (very expensive) After taking the product for over a week I am sad to inform that it has done nothing for my hot flashes, I have not seen any other benefits as stamina and focus because I do not have those problems, I will NOT be buying this product again. One star for flavor

Yeah, I tried this after seeing it on The Doctors and hearing about it/reading about it. I can't say it's done a lot for me, so ... it didn't hurt me, but it was not life-changing. It has very little taste, blends into food or smoothies easily.

Edit: updating this. I don't use this all the time, but I do try to put a teaspoon or so in my breakfast smoothie. This means that in a given week, I might get two to three teaspoons of maca. The cons: I am not a fan of the taste and it does not easily blend into my smoothie - it leaves lumps that are bitter tasting unless you blend the heck out of it. Apparently some people are okay with the taste and even put it in their coffee; not me - I find it bitter and almost sour. The pros: while I really thought this was doing nothing, I can now attest that it does something - it ups your libido! Yep, even with just a few teaspoons in a week, sporadically, I can tell you that you will see a difference for that week and maybe a week after. It'll put the spring back in your step, lol, and get things moving again if they aren't, or moving faster if they are.

I started a routine close to a year ago that I'm now very good at keeping, which involves me having a smoothie for lunch 5 days each week. I started adding matcha powder initially, but had also seen maca mentioned and opted to try it out.

I will say that I headed into this with an open mind, not expecting much of anything really. I can't really say this additive provides me any extra energy, but I can attest that it resulted in an uptick to my libido. After about three days to a week, I was pretty much in heat for about another week straight. It has seemingly subsided since then, but I think I'll continue purchasing this stuff for its assorted health benefits. The price wasn't bad and packaging is sound.
